Totally agree with your selection of rock the world tony, should of won last time out at leopardstown, have backed the selection e/w.
Second selection is Hect Thomas in the second race at around 3/1,worth a look at his last run down in cork lads, was never put into the race,Ap taking the mount tomorrow, |

This is one tough card to wring anything out of but here we go.
12.50 All You Need has run quite well in non mares maidens last twice and this is far from a hot race so 11/2 will do for me. 1.20 Heck Thomas doesn't look a bad bet at 3/1 in a weak maiden.Should improve from first run. 3.20 Ravished looks a decent bet at 13/2. The one thing a horse in a 3 mile must do is stay. This lad appeared to do just that last time. The others races are too tough for me and I will leave them to the rest of you to figure out. Good luck all. |

Bonny Kate ...Pikey will tell you why ...
Foxrock ...The purse is big enough to make it worth their while.... Phantom Prince...Ran a nice race last time and if staying the trip should be there at the business end... good luck all punters... |

Good card today with the 2 big handicaps but tricky enough to pick out winners .... 4 that i will be chancing , 3 are a bit of value
12.50 All You Need each way 7/1 Not a great maiden hurdle by leopardstown standards so a combination of process of elimination , price , running against own sex for first time and connections have me backing this mare .... nice run first time where maybe she didn t get home over 2 m 4 f , galloped all the way to the line dropped backed to 2 m at Thurles the last day behind Max Dymamite ... I have a feeling that Barry Connell might have picked this race out as a target for a while as he tends to target leopardstown a lot being his local track .... She might not be a world beater but a 7/1 in an average race can t see her out of the first 3 .... 1.20 Fletcher 7/4 general ( 2 s if u can get on with B365) Huddys is right in saying heck thomas wasn t put into the race at Cork the last day and the drift in the market beforehand confirmed that but i thought Fletcher was very eyecatching here at christmas and worth a look on the video .... In saying that i thought he might have been a bigger price this morning but again the lack of top class opposition tells me if he jigs today he has to go close ... was only beaten a neck in his only point to point run. The 2 big handicaps look very competitive and you can make a case for a good few in each .. The 2 i have gone for are; 2.20 He'll Be Remembered each way 10/1 A great old servant to the Fahys who also tends to run very well around Leopardstown with a couple of wins including this race last year off 135 .... Only 3 lb higher this time and showed his well being with his win / 2 nd at Punchestown in that conditions hurdle on new years eve.. Foxrock is tempting but with him and marito staying in He ll be remebered gets a nice weight to carry so i he ll do for me ... 2.55 Pairofbrowneeyes each way 12/1 Lightly raced Liz doyle runner .... had 3 runs over fences before switching to hurdles and winning a maiden hurdle first time up at 20/1 ...Colour france was favourite that day and has progressed to mark of 133 ... Pair of browneyes is still only on 120 ... Has had just 2 runs in handicaps since that maiden win ... 4 th to sammy black back in march only beaten 4 lengths but had to do a lot of the donkey working chasing the scalded cat Rory O Moore that day ... came back in november with a good win from pivot bridge at puchestown to get in here with just 10-2 ..... If memory serves me right Liz doyle won this race a few years back with a similar type a few years back ,penny bill i think ? Again wide open but should go well at a bit of a price |

santry .. All you need is 7/1 with Spoils if your backing it

Two ew,s on Foxrock and Ravished be my interest today. Thought Fletcher had a lovely line of form if it works out in that he had Lean Araig behind him last time and can see why you like him Dingle, thought he would be a little bigger myself as well.

Eddie Harty on RTE just said " ground could be a bit lively would prefer softer and a good test of stamina " ..... What planet is he on ??????????? ....
|
|
By:
russell just said the same thing about the ground on atr. Seems strange alright.
|
|

2.20 He'llberemembered @ 10/1 E/W as already mentioned seems to go well round here, has been in decent form, only a couple of pounds higher than when winning this last year and good claimer up again
2.50 Ted Veale @ 25/1 E/W only his 3rd spin over hurdles since winning the VOB at cheltenham a few seasons back, only 2lbs higher aswell when you take into account jockeys claim today, has been in decent form over the larger obstacles, tony's in decent form too. Place in this race previously and at the prices looks a decent bet E/W first 5 places Small E/W doble too |
|
By:
Very easy Dingle,wd.
|
|
By:
The jockeys that rode in the opener report the ground to be yielding at worst and good in places
|
|
By:
yeah Lapsy ...market spoke even if Eddie is in planet Zog
..... Ted just said first race 6 seconds slower and Barry Geraghty called it horrible and now Russell saying it good ground for this time of year ![]() ![]() ![]() |
|
By:
200/1(exch)in a 3 horse race over fences, is surely worth a very small donation to the layers, irrespective of ground which i,m flumoxed about.
