I am also pro choice when it comes to abortion and gay rights.  On immigration , we need to better manage inflows, but recognise their contribution.  I am for tolerance on racial matters.  Immigrants should not be used as a conveninet punch bag for all of societies ills and our economic failings.

This can be construed as Liberal.  These issues are more frequently discussed on here, hence the categorisation of me as a Liberal... But overall, I am predominantly progressively right of centre.

What you see as 'promoting multiculturalism'..I see as secular.  We are no longer a theocracy, and the state broadcaster, bankrolled by the taxpayer, should not be used as a conduit for the Catholic Church or any other religion.

Islamic countries effectively operate as theoracies, why shouldn't we? The rise of isis and boko haram have further strengthened this position. Ireland is a catholic country. We fought damn hard to be able practise catholicism over hundred of years and now people just want to give it up. It beggers belief.

The Constitution prohibits us operating as a Theocray.  The Constitution guarantees freedom of worship, and forbids the state from creating an established church.
