Good win for Shane Donohue, hope they didnt search him this time.
Whilst the prize money seems low the way the Euro is collapsing could be a lot safer. |

Very touchy/precious person. |

Missed Uranna Mullins/Walsh
See they have Ballycasey 3.50 tomara BUT no beatin Ptit Zig 2/1 |
|
By:
I like Ptit Zig also, best of luck CMIUC
|
|
By:
Ptit Zig has no chance.....terrible bit of training.....shouldnt be in the race even.....
|
|
By:
Petit Filuele is better than she has shown this year and might appreciate the bit of better ground. Ballycasey has a bit of a hole in him, Not sure Balder wants this far and have a feeling Zig might be flattered by his rating so will chance Henderson's.

While WPM will no doubt steal the limelight in Cheltenham/Doncaster on Saturday (Djakadam 4/7 Chelt, Shaneshill, Morning Run & Up For Review) - presume it's not often we see ALT Moore Pass The Hat in Engerland.

Ran a cracking race, plenty of 150+ horses well beaten.15 runners and a clear 4th was cruel for ew backers, few sketchy jumps but not bad overall, won't seem the type i'd like going over the Cheltenham fences myself.
Lovely mark of 117 over hurdles and bit unlucky to bump into the improving Oscar Sam last time on that, tis immenient. |

Given that it is a seller and a class 6, it wouldn't probably be the wisest to go too mad on them but Elliotts pair are interesting at Wolves today for a few reasons.
Both ran well yesterday, i might be wrong but got an impression it was more of a "spin" for them, Dove Mountain made ground from way off the pace to finish 3rd and National Service went odds on I/R and while no exrta at the finish had a slightly troubled passage. 3F extra should suit Dove Mountain a lot better and Arhie Stevens the fav should give National Service a good lead. Of course the minus is they could well "bounce" after yesterday but surely Elliott would have pulled them out if they aren't "right",for what it is worth i thought they didn't have hard races. Any thoughts? |
|
By:
Both should have won.
I backed Dove Mountain! Both days!! He should have won both days too. If yesterday was an average effort in the saddle, today was up with Tom Queelys best f*ck ups. How he got that beat I will never know. I have long said he is utterly useless, and that copperfastened it! Frankel has been raised a further 14lbs by the official handicapper on the back of it!! |
|
By:
Queally was chronic, bad enough losing a dozen lths at the start but to rein him back around when he had the race won by not going through a big enough gap was inexcusable, very poor.
Elliott has done well with these two, very average but a few little touches in the last few months with them. |
|
By:
I believe Gordon to be a very intelligent sort.
Getting Timmy and Tommy to ride his beasts there today would mount a serious case for the opposition!! |
|
By:
Agreed,if he had put each of them on the other horse today.

|
By:
He could have won on Dove Mountain himself!!
