Rory should walk it by right and may well win, but not at that price.

I pay f*ck all attention to celebrities lives. Is Hamilton married?? Should be shot if he is. He could prob hop up on whatever he wanted.

Rory on the other hand may thank God that he's rich and famous!!

Hamilton won a two horse race with monotonous regularity.

McIlroy had to beat a hundred of the best golfers in the world in his two Majors.

Should be no betting but does either individual care.

I prefer the way Hamilton carries himself to McIlroy (and I've warmed to Rory), he takes things in stride, so for that reason I'd like him to win.

Anyone think Ronnie O'Sullivan might place?

If it is a personality bit, he surely should be. His post match interviews are becoming a bit of a highlight for me. "I was gone" last week v Trump.

On our own shores and in light of last night's events, watch out for Andy Lee on the 'personality' front in this coming year. The guy is a great talker and by a million miles the best ambassador the travelling community have ever or will ever have.

His next opponent is highly likely to give him the height of personal abuse, that is his form anyway, and I'm looking forward to see how Lee handles it, there could be some great moments.

One thing I'm not looking forward to is the likes of Pavee Point and Des Cahill crawling all over him.

I don't know if we do a version of Sports Personalitry, the production is probably **** and nobody knows when it is on if we do.

Looks like Rory getting the pimp slot or close to it,  Hamilton on early not helping his chances.

Too true Norn, he has become very gracious in both defeat and victory as well Callit. I don't think he would have appreciated someone like Selby very much a few years ago. He and Trump should provide some good entertainment in the next few years.

Lewis Hamilton @ 3/1 looks like a bit of value in  a 2 horse race. At least he has a personality.
Gary Linekar should have taken a sickie, he will hardly finish the show.

I have yet to warn to Trump Neill. Think he is too thick to fully fulfil his potential. I had him backed at 40s for the WC when he was beaten in final by Higgins. I may feel differently about him had he won that! He certainly should have.

Lovely story Norn, not sure is Calz with the girl any more, I hear he is a bit of a man-about-town. You should look her up!

Reading the other threads callit, it appears Judd's head went a bit in that final early on and he was hitting the ball way too hard, when all was lost and the tension went, then he was better. He'd want to clean up his safety play as well. Ronnie misseed a few he never normally would so it might have been as much the champ letting too much off the gas.

I think I've read some stuff about Trump disrespecting inferiors in the early rounds of tournaments some time back. That was his first proper final since 2011 so it might have taken a few corners off him.
