Long time since he won , but a 2 shot victory in Jakarta must be welcome . And he was a 25/1 shot in a distinctly average field , Still a win is a win , hopefully that will put an inch on his step . Well done .
Didn't see any reference to Padraigs chances , wildman . Looked fleetingly at that tournament , but not attracted to it because there is no turnover so trading is not possible . Did think Padraig was overpriced against a load of players who would have been lucky to be carrying his bag when he was winning Majors . Great to see him winning one , no matter where it is , winning is a habit , nothing succeeds like success . Hope he is starting upwards from his current 85th world ranking position .

I'm delighted he won too,the mans an out an out gentleman.
I didnt think it possible for him to win any tournament no matter what the field. I didnt think it possible for him to protect a lead.
One punter thought he could and backed him at 30/1.
I thought Harrington had fallen miles down the rankings didnt think he was anywhere near 85th.

pa lapsy • December 3, 2014 7:03 PM GMT ...Started off with Lee Westwood in the Nedbank... Stenson is playing the best around at the moment imo and deservedly fav, Speith on the back of a win last time and holder of course record gets my other pick.
Mention to Pod also in a terrible field in Indonesia. At 20/1+ chancing he can get at least another win, if he isn't competitive in the line up,never again a bob on him.
Lee Westwood win, ew dbs Stenson/Spieth and another small ew trixie with Harrington.
pa lapsy Report • Quote • Block User pa lapsy • December 3, 2014 7:26 PM GMT Bit of 30's on the exchange to small Huddy's, as you know he could just play terrible and the field won't matter but he won't ever get a weaker tournament, only stuck him in to the trixie to try for a big pot (treb about 2500/1).

Apparently there was a good interview with Padraig ref Paul Kimmage , one of my sons was telling me about it this morning . Some of it concerning Padraigs GAA efforts . Padraigs father was a very good player , saw him playing way back . Padraig played football before his golfing interest kicked in , and I always think it is a good idea to be involved with team sports , rounds the character a bit .

Nice to see Padraig winning in the land of many islands, a lot of people got very frustrated with Padraig game over the last few years including me; so you can Imagine how he felt. welldone Padraig

Last time I ventured any money on Padraig was for the Open this year , cant remember the odds , but didn't cut any ice . Just a fun bet . Anyway good to see that 1 in his form figures , horses aren't the only ones who appreciate that accolade .

padraig was a handy full-back Kelly, read about him in Dessie Farrell's book. Kenny Cunningham played with dessie for the Dub minors too.
Harrington's dad was a corkman, lost the 57 all-ireland to Louth.
