3.25 TWENTYTWO,S TAKEN NAP
this is a mare who I like, won well lto @fairyhouse (i backed her)ive been waiting for her to run and as she was entered last week @Cheltenham thought we would see her there..but the crawfords run here..i have a slight worry with the form of the yard.they have only had one winner in the last few weeks!.she loves it heavy so the more rain the better in a decent mares bumper,

Completely agree, price is everything! Tony doesn't nap them unless they are short

nonsense..i don't know the price..but im sure it,ll be about 11/4..if all stand there ground..i wont be about so I put it up eary ..as for only putting up shorties bigwilly..ive put up plenty more winners than you..or than most on here..the majority just throw mud at peoples opinions..bigwilly is forever saying that's got no chance then been shown up when it wins...and not being seen on the forum for days after..your entitled to opinion..

Probably the most talked about mare outside of Closutton over past few months.

Unless they really come for Lyrical Theatre, this could easily be around 6/4.

Hopefully they do come for Mullins runner.

Lyrical Theatre will wipe her arrse with that thing of Crawfords.....they are no danger in any race.....and don't worry about it being less than 11/4.....it will be all of that and the rest.....

I don't back in bumpers and I certainly don't back unraced runners in bumpers but if my informant is correct then Bonny Kate is going to run well.
Having perused her pedigree and seeing that Nina has deserted a previous winner it must be obvious that Bonny Kate has a serious chance in the mares bumper. You have to ask yourself why would Nina give up the ride on a previous bumper winner to ride the unraced Bonny Kate. She must think Bonny Kate is significantly better than Josephine Marcus. Bonny Kate is an each way good thing for me. Can Lyrical Theater give her  10 lbs, I doubt it.
The other one I like at a working man's price is  Akorakor @ around 12/1. His best days are going to be over fences but he could win a nice race over hurdles and tomorrow could be the day.

I dont think she has deserted a winner in favour of Bonny kate on a "best horse" thing, more likely that she rides all  Patricia Hunts bumpers as Paul Carberry  does her jumpers..

Maybe totally wrong though, GL

I think Rye Martini is very well handicapped and at 33/1 seems to be overpriced to me.

2 that I like today are:

Zigger Zagger 1.25 7/1

Hazariban 2.55 11/1

Clarcam is a superb bet at 7-2 in WH without Vautour. Fit from a run over hurdles, he has reportedly schooled very well both before and after that seasonal debut. He doesnt have many realistic challengers here, and 7-2 looks way out.

AT THE RACES  posted on Saturday: With a maximum field set to line up, tomorrow’s Ladbrokes Troytown Chase at Navan has a wide-open look to it but one horse who stands out as too big a price at 20/1 is BALBRIGGAN, and Gordon Elliott’s grey is put forward each-way with the five places concession. The King’s Theatre gelding has been in great form since joining his current yard earlier this year, winning three of his five completed starts, but it is the form of his sole defeat that really points to his chance in the Proudstown Park highlight. On that occasion he took a creditable third behind The Young Master at Cheltenham’s first meeting of the season, his chance compromised by a crucial blunder four out, and of course the winner went on to bolt up off a 9lb higher mark at Wincanton before being disqualified as he was ineligible. The runner-up Charingworth also did his bit by going one better in the curtain-raiser at last week’s Open fixture, all of which makes Balbriggan appear potentially well-treated off a 4lb lower Irish mark – and champion conditional Kevin Sexton’s 3lb claim is an added bonus. The pick of his efforts have admittedly come on a sounder surface than he will encounter this time but his latest success in a Sedgefield novice hurdle was achieved in soft going, and at the price it looks a risk worth taking.  well done Gary

Don't think it would have won but young Crawford gave up the outside to nobody there, about 8 horses wide just before turning in,winner looks good considering concession of weight to all bar runner up.

I couldn't believe it when I put up Oddschecker Oz.

I had tried a different firm earlier, hoping to be offered 6-4, but they had no market. The same as in the golf, when the odds compilers don't have a proper betfair market to guide them, they can quite frequently show how utterly clueless a lot of them are. Thankfully Clarcam done the rest.

As mentioned above, some pick by Gary yesterday with Balrbiggan, well done to that man. Am sure his part owner, Willie McKay, is the soccer agent who also owns Goal, also with G Elliott.  I'd say Gary has the inside track with Elliott, being part of the syndicate that has Bayan with him. Fair play.

Tis only a little bit back after you laid the Gotchees The Doorman, Snap, long way to go,very poor from ya.
Think there was a bit of doubt with Clarcam handling the ground,he did it well, was very near evens to be placed most of the morning which was very big in such a skewed market.Great spot with the 7/2,true price was nearer 6/4 i'd imagine.
Vautour was very very good and looks as if he only has to stand up in future, jumped well for 1st time. Lyrical Theatre isn't very big but was impressive,2nd fav was very keen early ,needs to be covered up and switched off, probably went wide for the better ground but then had no cover.Milsean had to work, possibly not that good and that Limerick bumper was flattering.
Enjoyable racing there today.

good synopsis pa ,clarcam was 9/4 in the w/o market on course , my fancy mineela foru was 3/1 w/o and was again given an easy imo ,reason i backed it was jp arrived in his helicoptor , also backed his runner trained by hourigan , neither of them at the races ...plenty of excuses lined up now before they take off the lead boots...

UN DE SCEAUX is set to be unleashed over fences at Thurles on Thursday, with Willie Mullins bemoaning the lack of opportunities for his new recruits to chasing.

Hot on the heels of Vautour’s flawless chasing debut at Navan on Sunday, Un De Sceaux will run in the 2m2f beginners’ chase on Thursday, but Ireland’s champion trainer feels there are not sufficient opportunities in such races for classier hurdlers.

“Un De Sceaux is entered at Thurles on Thursday and my plan at the moment is to run him there,” Mullins said.

“That’s over two miles two furlongs, so it’s an extra two furlongs, but there’s very little racing between now and Christmas, so it’s a case of getting him out whenever we can.”

On the beginners’ chase schedule in Ireland, Mullins said: “We don’t have the same opportunities as the trainers in England, who can choose from different tracks and distances. In Ireland, we just have to go with whatever comes up in front of us.

“A lot of the beginners’ chases at this time of year are confined to horses rated 109 or lower over hurdles. At a time of the year when racing is very sparse, I find opportunities for trainers are being cut down.

Slickster you are better off totting  up Peter OHehirs naps than tracking Workrider.

You make the common error of jumping in without reading his other comments,he clearly states he fancied Minella Foru,he was worried about effort so when he saw the bossman arrive he thought it would be a going day.

Not surprised you have no answer as you seem in a permanent state of bewilderment.

wildmanfromborneo , poor thickster wouldn't see a bus coming never mind a helicoptor , strange jp using up one of his tax free days for nothing don't you think , he missed his winner as well , so when the big bird arrived i just added 2 and 2 together and ended up with egg on my face ...

Not being wise after the event guys - I backed her too! - but although she has won on heavy it is NOT her preferred ground, indeed the Crawfords were pleasantly surprised that she handled it so well the first time.
