Carberrys horse was not able to follow the pace setter. The only hope was Dazzling Suzie hit a brick wall......she aint that bad of a mare and has always kept good company.

A good day 2 winners , nearly missed the first , so no bet , thought Susie was a worthy winner , the fav was slow into a couple early and Paul let her find her feet , but it all happened a bit quick for her , she will win her race though.. Lone Star ran out a good winner , after its run last week I was delighted to see it make the running , experience is a big plus in these 3 yr hurdles ...He'llberemembered was my other bet , then hightailed in out of there ..According to the bookie I bet with , there was very little action betting wise ...A most pleasant day all round...

Spot on workrider, he was asking her to close at that point and she hadn't got the pace. The only chance she had was the pace setter falling in a heap.

Now I cant stand the sight of Carberry and the clown was asleep at the start.....but apart from that I would say he was blameless yesterday on both horses he rode.....
The mare was clearly ill at ease on the ground....and wasn't able to go the pace that the winner set....there is no way she encountered ground as quick as that before....and to anybody that backed her of which I was one.....that had to be a concern beforehand......
Meade is forced to do things thesedays that he wouldn't have done in times gone by.....he chances horses on quick ground.....and he runs horses quickly also.....this is all to do with being so afraid of the Mullins battalion that he feels obliged to do so....

paulie if the ground description was wrong then fair enough..but according to the atr site and turf club the ground was good?..if you check the horses history shes won on good?..thats my point..if she now doesent go on this ground and needs it soft ..then fair enough..but no one said this afterwards?
