Done it ok in the end,The further they went the more he was pulling out

By:
didn't impress me tbf chelts?
By:
Could have been more impressive that's for sure but why have them fully wound up at this stage of the season?
i thought he jumped fine for his first time jumping fences and you wouldn't get many harder fences to jump 1st time up i'd be surprised if he wasn't competitive in Grade 1 chases this season. |
By:
I thought he done what was needed. Jumped well, was clever when getting close to one or two. Didn't pull away up the straight, but looked to be dossing rather than labouring. When Cooper gave him a squeeze just before turning in, he came right back on the bridle. Plenty in the tank imo.

^ Agree,NM delighted with that i'd imagine, they(Gigginstown) don't half have a lot of very moderate horses, some shockers in their colours today so far.

Fantastic day for the team.
Delighted for Road to Riches... |
By:
Road to Riches done it very nicely,And also Don Cossack,But u do fear for him when they step him up to 3 miles,
Ryanair looks perfect race for him,But im sure they will step him up in trip again, |
By:
Not a bad day at the office for team Giggy.
Valseur Lido looks very exciting,And identity thief couldn't have been more impressive in what looked a hot bumper. Great to see HDB been given a few Giggy horses,An excellent trainer. |
By:
Cracking weekend for the team.
Lido looks a star at 5 years of age. |

I read on irishracing.com that willie is thinking about the rsa for him, I think that would be a huge mistake. Presumably he is already lining up vautour and un de sceaux for the other two novice chases. It would be a disgrace to run him in that race, he doesn't look a 3 miler to me and he is still very young.
Hopefully O Leary won't put up with the sort of nonsense that went on around un de sceaux last year but not many question King Mullins at the moment. I hope to god they don't run him in the Rsa as it could ruin him and he's a potential superstar as everyone saw today. |
By:
Surprised MOL has never given Jessie a horse,Especially when u consider he has had horses with Nolan and Rothwell
By:
Apologies,Should have mentioned the Don,But was out at my match today, missed the racing,Won it well by all accounts,Dug in well,
Would love to see him over 3 miles at least one more time,He seems to be an improved horse this season,Maybe there was something amiss last season,Never seen out his races last season,Anyone know what he'll be aimed at next? If he were mine id be going the King George with him,If he's ever gonna get 3 miles it'll be around Kempton,That'll be a perfect race for him. |
By:
Chelt , its just took him awhile to fill his frame ,smashing horse and he really enjoyed himself today , agree re K G...
By:
Yeah he's always been the apple of Elliots eye WR,He never hid how much he thought of the horse,
As you say,He seems to be the finished article now,Onwards and upwards hopefully. |
By:
Followers of the Gigginstown team will want to listen to this. It's an in-depth interview we did with Bryan Cooper last night. Fair play to him, he went into great detail on a lot of horses, despite being smothered with flu.

I am just delighted now that the investment is starting to come through at the highest level.
Don Cossack, No More Heroes and Valseur Lido all very good winners of there respective races the past few weeks. I am thrilled for Michael O Leary. And elliott well he is just doing a fantastic job. |
By:
I see Don Cossack still holds an entry in the KG along with Road To Riches,Come on MOL,Let him take his chance!

According to Elliot in the I.F. on sat , he's heading straight to Chelt for the Ryanair ...
By:
Ridiculous wrapping them in cotton wool
By:
He's won three top races already this season , so not exactly wrapping him in cotton wool , he said they might target another race if they feel he needs it...
By:
Would hardly describe them as top races bar his latest one
By:
A fantastic festive period for team Giggy,Delighted Henry has finally been given a slice of the cake,
What a prospect Identity Thief looks. |

Any idea when Rule the World goes? Cheltenham on the cards?
By:
Cooper is 6/1 with Hills to be the top Cheltenham Festival jockey. This is an astonishingly big price in my opinion considering Gigginstown have the favourites for the Neptune and Albert Bartlett and second favourites for the RSA, JLT, Ryanair, Stayers and Gold Cup. The likes of Gordon Elliott and Tony Martin are also likely to get one two well handicapped in time for the handicaps whereas the big trainers - the likes of which Walsh, Geraghty and Twiston-Davies will be relying upon for rides - do not often have so well handicapped horses bar maybe the odd novice now and again.
By:
Not a sexy enough name with the general public, you can be guaranteed if ruby ap or geraghty were giggys number i that price would be cut in half at the very least.
By:
His presention of a horse to a fence is a joy to watch , none better atm imo...
By:
Don Poli another really exciting horse.
Tell us More tomorrow. Unfortuntely I am a year late singing there dues but they have significantly cut a lot of the dead wood and bought more french horses. I am delighted for them ![]() |
By:
Having a fantastic season to date,Good to see things starting to fall their way.
Some lovely novices this season too as well as bumper horses,But we wont be seeing any in the champion bumper as MOL doesn't like the race as a rule of thumb. |
By:
How ironic this thread has been so quiet the year Giggy are flying,Absolutely fantastic season to date with some excellent prospects heading to Cheltenham,Team Giggy have well and truly arrived

They seem to have a stranglehold in this years festival 4 miler anyway
![]() |
By:
I backed Don poli for the National Hunt Chs a while back when Willie said after his last run that the 4m would suit him, i think iv done my dough.hope im wrong.
By:
We'd id say if the think he is a gold cup horse I doubt he be running in the 4 miler

You can add Dreambaby (Hibo Syndicate) WP Mullins Ms K Walsh to that list.

She loves that ground and kept going. She wants a trip and I imagine whatever she does over two miles, she'll do better over two and a half." GOOD DAY AHEAD FOR GIGGS |

ROI DES FRANCS will need to beat Meade's Monksland 11/8 & Davy's 3/1 Noble Endeavor to justify my 33's for the RSA.
3.20 in Gowran is a crackin race...with 3 good chasing prospects clashing. Monksland - very smart form over hurdles, made his long awaited comeback over hurdles earlier in the month. Roi Des Francs - WILL do really well over fences this season Noble Endeavor - would have made a winning chasing debut at Down Royal but for a mistake at the last. Davy on board now. Stone Hard dbl |
