Atzeni and Hanagan, too slow to react from poor positions and are not that strong as people think............. But Oisin Murphy shows them how it`s down.......... trips to Oz pays off in gold.......... Pace,Position,Tactics and getting horses travelling will always pay.............

When do you expect Osin to make inroads on those Ten Gr1 winners he's going to ride in the next four years btw Easygob????????????????.....Osin is a good lad tbf probably in the top four apprentices riding at the moment.

Ah Fly Fisher.............. are you re-watching last year`s races and then writing about it now??????? your 12 months behind........... Gone Fishing.........

JR......Seeings that you have such an in depth knowledge of the game..... would you be so kind as to name the other 3 apprentices that are in the top 4 in Britain.....
Report J.R.Hartley October 4, 2014 7:50 PM BST
I didn't mention Britain Paulie....please try and pay attention.....the best three apprentices riding at the moment imo would be....Colin Keane...Conor King....Leigh Roche.
Report paulie wallnuts October 4, 2014 8:02 PM BST
Ya Conor King and Leigh Roche are better than Murphy alright......
Report J.R.Hartley October 4, 2014 8:22 PM BST
Got to take the missus out for a spot of dinner but it's a debate i'll gladly take part in Paulie.....bye for now.
Report paulie wallnuts October 4, 2014 8:24 PM BST
Have a good night JR......I don't think there would be much point having a debate though.....it looks like we are on different wavelengths.....
Report The Gotchee October 4, 2014 9:39 PM BST
You can't debate anything paulie without anger or slagging. You are not on different wavelengths........ you are on a different planet. Murphy is good but he would still be claiming if he was over here. When was the last time an apprentice rode two trebles in the same week in Ireland. Doubt it has ever been achieved?
Report pa lapsy October 4, 2014 9:50 PM BST
Sure Conor King had a huge priced 4 timer in Mallow last year, won't surprise me if he had a double as well that same week either as he was on fire around that time in particular. Rate him,Murphy and Keane very highly though not sure about Roche yet.
Report callitasucit October 4, 2014 10:43 PM BST
Weld has done a good job with Roche, and Roche has done well to believe in what he what he was doing.

Its a long time, relatively speaking, since he broke on the scene, but rather than burn out his claim in jig time, Weld has nurtured him, and let him develop physically, before starting to stick him up on a few winners again. Roche was far too weak a couple of years ago, and wouldn't have got the sniff of a ride without a claim back then.

He has much more of a chance after the patient approach, and must be commended for not spitting the dummy.
Report easygold October 4, 2014 11:48 PM BST
Hi Lads, yeah I like Keane (but sometimes goes back to his old ways (too far back) but overall he is improving),Roche (will have a chance today with Pat winning over in France) but he is solid enough. But again you can`t compare them with Murphy, those two are riding a lot longer with their claim for obvious reasons (less races in Ireland)
Mr Murphy will be riding against the best more often next year and that will stand for him along with Keane. But again I have no doubt that Murphy will improve with leaps and bounds.
It`s all about less errors throughout the season.

Connor King before Conor Beasley mmmmmmmmmmmm not with my eyes.

Or before Ryan Tate, and a few more..... Keep-up that Fly Fishing..........
