COUGAR MOUNTAIN really impressed me when he won on debut at Naas , a monster of a horse , he ran a cracker at Newmarket on ground that would not have suited him ..I fancy his chances today...

Backed Moore in that Tony , thought he was caught in a pocket all the way up the straight , if he'd got out earlier he'd have won imo...

I had no bet , so wasn't particularly interested in the betting .  Drifted out this morning , Sky were offering me 7/2 , but the vibes earlier were not 100% .

Some nut jobs on that horse racing form, they're incapable of contextualising a ride and realising that a horse has to be ridden to his strengths. David Power had stated beforehand that Hughes was getting the ride because of his belief in Sole Power's turn of foot.
Not one for cliches but your Health is your wealth even for a guy worth a few hundred million,he had a turn at the end of last year and took the warning on board; has since given up the pipe.

Tony playing at Fos los is the equivalent of playing poker against the rest of the table with a marked deck, the welsh mafia dice up the races there and the market can be multi layered.

Wasn't paying much attention tbh Pa , thought someone on here said Powers were the one who were short , others were trying to give it away , maybe I took it up wrong...
Report pa lapsy August 22, 2014 4:26 PM BST
Remember talking to you last year WR about that horse,we both thought he was exceptional.
Rat, stick to the pro gaa betting WinkCoolLaughLaughLaughLaugh

I get were your coming from dj, but ive done ok at ffos las..? your point about the welsh trainers is fair..but the problem is knowing which one is going to win?..ConfusedLaugh

I try not to get involved in those races at all Tony,I just think there is a higher percentage of fiddling. There is a mini-cartel formed at the race course with certain operations thriving on cooperation rather than competition.

I find myself agreeing with dj876 , seems they know who's day its going to be on a regular basis...

It was Slade Pa , I was very taken with him one day at the Curragh now that you mention it , phew I was getting worried there...
Report workrider August 22, 2014 5:58 PM BST
