On too the big Handicap race this Saturday, the horse I think has a great chance is the Willie Mullins trained Lucky Bridle,Mullins has taken his two other horses out of the race this week, leaving him Lucky Bridle, this horse has the same profile as Mullins winner last week Pique Sioux, ran over a shorter than ideal trip last time out at Cork, staying  on powerfully to finish second, over a shorter than ideal trip,The owner Wylie been a local lad from Newcastle will love to have a winner here,at one of the tracks biggest meeting of the year,Got the service of top jockey Hanagan to take the ride, interesting that the current favourite for the race is trained by Fahey,Im sure if Hanagan was free Fahey would of snapped him up for the ride,Currently priced at 10/1 with Powers, cant see this price lasting come Saturday, can see the horse going off favourite,Think  the 10/1 is a cracking e/w bet,

Thought it was bad out of WPM to have given the impression that Pique Sous was almost a certain runner right after Ascot but as you stated Huddys get the feeling it was Wylie's "race" all the time.
Couple of things struck me in that Mallow race, how can Dark Crusader turn that around, seemingly can,t but then it is Martin, and Lucky Bridles head carriage,he wears a hood and no wonder, thought it was very high. Took a fierce hold over hurdles at Punchestown as well so Hanagan has a bit of a job with him imo,not impossible but wants a very good ride to me, can't fault your logic Huddy's tis been a plan for a while though personally question marks to me over the horses resolution.
Chance to Dance runs tomorrow night at the Curragh,a nice run from him would be good on a line through the horse that beat Lucky Bridle at Mallow.
Was ready to have a cut on Pique Sous, but probably have a good look at the Curragh for the weekend, best of luck Huddys.

Donn McClean's tip on Newstalk last night was for Dark Crusader. It has come in two points to 10/1. He reckons the better ground will make all the difference. Hayley O'Connor said they were caught badly last year in Killarney when he had a rating of 64. He certainly made mincemeat of that subsequently.

Chance to Dance was mentioned in an earlier post. He runs tonight in the 8 bells at the Curragh. I seen him at the Curragh on the May bank holiday meeting. He looked a proper horse in the parade ring taking on 3 year olds. Jim Bolger giving him the time has been the making of the horse and there is every chance of him following up his Cork Derby victory a fortnight ago.

Good post as usual from you Soapp WD.
Enjoyed the racing there tonight and some nice performances with Words probably just shading them.
Hi Emperor rightly described as a "bit of a simpleton" had a luckless run and one for consideration in future.
