Been a great weeks racing one more day ahead, looks a hard card, the one horse that takes my eye is Pique Sous in the lucky last, interesting jockey booking by Mullins getting Moore for the ride, given a nice pipe open last time out over a shorter than ideal trip, missed the 6/1 earlier, backed it now at 9/2,best of lucky tomorrow lads,
Probably has Ozy with Sunset Glow today but last chance saloon in the 2.30 tomorrow, whatever else you might think of them they look an entirely different species to the native ones over here in regards conformity and muscle.

Hello Huddys, initial thoughts were with the other one on the basis of being just 2L off Sunset Glow and always hard to judge a newcomer for me, be ew anyway if did him as DW looks strong,as you say a hard looking card but not a bad meeting overall for punters.

Nothing at Ascot Huddy,s was hoping C Byrnes would run Domination again but no, did a small ew on Baidin Fheilimi 16/1 at Down Royal with PP, only bet so far on the horses, got the match very wrong tonight and hate having a bet when the confidence is shook.

Have had a good bed on Rivellino in the Wokingham @ 34, 33/1 and 25s - think he is massive and expect him to go close
Only other bet so far is Arab Spring @ 10/3, going the right way and don't think the 8lbs rise is going to stop him
Thought Telescope would win the Hardwicke but whether he is value at the price is another thing
Will probably chuck a few quid at Hawkeyethenoo @ massive prices in the Golden Jubilee, finally got that handicap Graham Lee off his back and is running on good ground for the first time in a very long time which he has put up his best performances on, odds are he is not as good as he once was but at the massive price i am preferred to throw a few quid his way with a lot in his favour today

2.30 Dick Whittington slightly preferred to Toscanini. 3.45 Dandino is a huge price at 10/1. Likes fast ground and goes well fresh. 4.25 Slade Power seems to be getting better. Only doubt for me would be the fast ground . 5.00 Rocky Ground is a Group horse in a h'c with a good draw. 5.35 Tiger Cliff ticks all the boxes for me .
Good Luck all.

Its hard to see beyond the two Irish in the first alright, and at the prices I have backed both.
Also with you on Dandino in the second, though have also backed Pethers Moon, both e.w at 10s and 11s respectively. Little bit more on Pethers as I am particularly sweet on him. The better ground today today could just bring about enough improvement for him to pull it off. Hopefully he gets a fast pace to aim at.
Again, the only doubt about Slade Power is the ground, but I have little doubt he is the best horse in the race, so will stick with him.
If Tiger Cliff runs up to his best he will win.

2.30 Justice Well 14/1. Elsworth's has a very good bunch of 2 year olds this year 7 wins from 20 runs 35% strike rate. He ran two alredy this week and both ran very well without winning. 3.05 Elhaame 16/1. Lightly raced 4 year old who has stamina doubts, I expect him to come fast and late. 2nd in a good handicap at Ascot last year, ran as if in need of the run last time out, more to come? 3.45 Pethers Moon 11/1. Only twice out of the first 3 in all his runs, first time out on soft ground and very badly interfered with when unplaced on the other occasion. He is a place nap for me @ 9/4. 4.25 American Devil 25/1. French horses are always underestimated but the manner of his two most recent wins deserve respect. 5.35 Pique Sous 4/1. Sure to stay the trip although he can be inclined to pull hard. These type of races are "bread and butter" to Willie Mullins with the added bonus of Ryan Moore in the plate.

".30 Ascot Caprior Bere e/w, Big gamble at Redcar but ran into a proper horse,Overpriced imo. Justice Well is a big danger, Elsworth always leaves them short fto so to win was unexpected and could be a nice one. 3.05 Elhaame, Everything above I agree with and didn't look off lto, Back to last winning mark and Luca hasn't fired many arrows this week. 3.45 Forgotten Voice, Fallon will do a better job than Frankie did lto, Dual winner here and will love the going. 4.25 Astaire, One of a handful of Group 1 winners here, Showed he had trained on with a good run lto at York,Wide open race but worth chancing, Lord Gordon Byron is my idea of the danger. 5.00 York Glory/Hoof It dutch, Shouldn't really be betting in this but both have done me favours in the past so owe me nothing, YG looking to repeat last years win, HI catches the eye with Fallon booked. 5.35 Had word for Pique Sous last week for this but First Avenue ran well in this last year and is in the form of his life atm, Chancing him ew. Good luck today everyone.

SLADE POWER completed an unforgettable Royal Ascot for trainer Eddie Lynam when blitzing to a scorching sprint success in the Diamond Jubilee.
Lynam was also on the mark with Sole Power in the Group 1 King's Stand Stakes and Queen Mary heroine Anthem Alexander, and the victory of Slade Power means Lynam goes back to Ireland with three winners from four runners.

Sunshine, skirt, favourites going in, Irish Hosses going in, Her Maj present and adding glamour, no nonsense preview evening irrelevancies etc etc . Knocks Cheltenham into a cocked hat imo.

Seems as if Pique Sous is going to Newcastle on Saturday providing WPM is happy with the conditions, no prices up yet and you would have to think he will be fairly short but if he takes his chance hard to see him beat on the manner of that win.
