wildman,
I spoke to the track this morning and watering was never even considered, never mind undertaken. Why would it have been? It was good-to-yielding on Tuesday. |

I'm not sure they know half of what's going on,one thing I am certain of was they gave the ground as good in the morning, there was no rain yet the ground rode slow, something changed the ground.
The runs of U S Navy Seal and Our Manekineko proved to me the ground was slow. Along Came Casey was odds on solely because punters presumed there was no cut whatsoever, that run confirmed there was cut. Joyeuse was given an unusual ride by inexperienced Leopardstown rider,he spotted the gap turning in and mistakenly flew up the rail through the slower and I presume watered ground, the winner went wide on the better ground,it made all the difference. |
