I refer to Adrian Paul Keatley of Dunlavin...recently picked up on the radar. 100% strike rate in UK -2/2. Both rated in 40s in piddly races and both ridden by (different) 7 lb claimers. First winner Lady Ranger was trained by Peter McCreery up to a few weeks ago.Now down as owned by APK, went off 2/1f and sluiced in by nearly 3 lengths. Second winner -in the 6.00 at Ayr today -was Carraroe Flyer. Trained until 13 days ago by Peter Fahy, this went off a well backed 9/2 3f and hosed up by nearly 3 lengths. In 6 outings in Ireland it was never nearer than 8th and beaten a total of 90 lengths. Last time out at Tramore it ran over 12f and was beaten 25 lengths. Tonight it runs over a mile and has the turbo charge booster fitted leaving its opponents trailing in a cloud of sickly exhaust fumes. Very interesting manoeuvres. Anyone know anything about APK ?
Was with Oliver McKiernan and spent a few years in Australia. Was interviewed that day in Chepstow when he had the winner and he mentioned that in the interview.Rode a bit as an amatuer.

Learned his trade with Francis Flood and as by purpose said above, trained McKiernans horses. Very capable and out to make a name for himself. Winning these low grade races will do him no harm at all.
