DUBLIN gaelic football team play all their championship games in croke park adress DUBLIN  they play some of their home league games in parnell park when the crowd expected is suitable.where is the ignorance in that set of facts?im not anti dublin.im just logical.a county housing half the population of ireland and they get to play all their games at home??

In fact Dublin never get the opportunity to play any of their championship matches on their home ground.

IT must be the only amateur sport  in the world  that can get 60,000 fans plus at there games, very hard to turn down money like that.

Kavvie...........F U N D I N G................how would all them country  clubs be without the monies from the Dubs and would'nt they miss out on the trip to the big smoke to get all the christmas pressies in September.

Parnell park is the home pitch of Dublin and the hurlers would like to play there more often.

Maybe the all encompassing "G.A.A." would work.

The Irish Sports label is an insult. They have a name - why not call them by it? I've never heard anyone refer to the G.A.A. before as Irish Sports.

Again if this forum is intended for discussion on topics pertaining to Ireland, which may include the G.A.A. but may also include discussion on Irish politics, Irish economics, Irish TV, the League of Ireland, etc why not call it 'Irish' the same way we have a North American forum and an Australian forum for those regions?

I am pretty sure the Dubs themselves think of Croke Park as their home ground even in championship games when it gets to the semi final stages. They certainly took umbrage when they came out second for a match against Tyrone and wanted to join the Tyrone lads kicking the ball into the same goals in their warm up.
