Stenson threatens to make a move, but keeps stumbling upon a poor bogey. Given shots away at the must birdie par 5, and easy par 4. At least 3 shots gone to the field there.
Kaymer moving nicely, hopefully can bag the 69 or better. Went with PP 11-2 instead of the 6.8 on here. Refunding(still are) if you finish 2nd or 3rd. Max of 50 euro,.....but just fill out a few dockets! Excellent offer if you backing the guy out in front, who wouldnt have been any more than 5-2 to fin top 3.

Not won since 2010 ffs
Hope he has two early birdies so that we can lay the man ! (Too many great players up his behind with two rounds still to go in what is 'birdie heaven'). I certainly wouldn't be laying him Catch Me. He may not have won since 2010, but if you are talking about great players, the only legitimate candidate on the leaderboard is Kaymer. Within 6 shots, we have: Spieth. I am a massive fan, and he will be great, he will win majors, and he will be world number one. 'Will' is the important word here. Henley. A good player, and sometimes great putter. When his career is over, I doubt he will be looked back on as one of the greats of the game. Furyk. Thoroughly admirable player, who has won more than his talent would suggest, but no major, no world number one. Great?? Westwood. A bigger choker than Jimmy White on the big stage. This is a big stage. Rose. Has a major in the bag, but bottle wouldn't be his strong point. Great?? Woodland. Don't think so. So, within 6 shots, we have no current greats of the game. Kaymer has been world number one, won a major, holed a massive pressure putt to win a Ryder Cup. He can legitimately be termed a great. Spieth aside, he has more bottle than the rest of them put together. Spieth himself has struggled to win this year, spurning numerous opportunities, so his next one will be the hardest to win. Im not saying Kaymer is some sort of certainty, but I certainly wouldn't be laying him on the above invalid grounds. I expect he will relish being back in the limelight. It could well be a shootout between the two leaders, the rest certainly need a bit of help from them to get back into it. I would have Kaymer and Spieth joint fav at around 3.4 at the moment, so if was having a bet it would be the German. Zach Johnson could also be worth a top up at 65. He has made a few silly errors this week, but the putter looks hot, and he could just go crazy one of the next two days.

Furyk has won a major hasn't he? A US open I think but before my time watchig golf so not sure. I'd expect him to finish a lot stronger than he has in recent tournaments because he has such a strong record here and lives near the course I think. Probably a bit too far off the front two to win though.
Rose is playing well but has a poor overall record at the course so when the prssure really comes on he might struggle. Henly has played fantastic ad should go well, was impressive @ Honda classic this year. Overall, I'd expect Spieth to finish the job now, very impressive @ the masters as everyone knows. No interest in getting involved at current price though.

By:
Sorry NA, he won the 2003 US Open. Just dont think he has the bottle anymore. Would need to fall into his lap, like it nearly did last week. Should be an interesting weekend. Spieth was very impressive the weekend of the Masters, he seemed to control his emotions a lot better than normal. Hopefully its something he can maintain. The world is his oyster if he can.

Why are the last pair a full 2 holes behind the previous pairing and no penalty is mooted? If that's not slow play then I don't know what is.

Hoping for a profitable evening, been on the wrong side of a few close calls the last few weeks.
Done few 2 balls, Justin Leonard Fran Molinari Morgan Hoffman Singles, and small trixie. Sneaky yankee, them 3, with Kaymer, Sergio and Snedeker.
|
By:
Fran Molinari looks well worth an investment at 5-4 in his 2 ball against Woodland.
He has improved with each passing round, and though it would be a lot to ask to better yesterdays 67, he wont have to to win this contest. Woodland shot his best round on Thursday, and though still in the hunt he rarely impresses on a Sunday. Mol being a shot further back can help for this particular bet, as he is far enough off the pace, that he wont expect to win, and has a history of excellent Sundays when winning hasn't been foremost on his mind.

Welcome to 'birdie heaven' !!!
With a 7 under par (Choi), -6 (for Henley) already posted today (& Walker -6 thru 12)........Looks like my man needs at least a 3 under par round to win.

STORY OF THE (yester)DAY
Justin Rose began Sunday’s final round two strokes closer to the lead than he had originally thought after the PGA Tour reversed a two-stroke penalty it had assessed Saturday. The reversal came thanks to a new rule that was implemented to protect players from violations that can be seen only through high-definition devices and sophisticated technology. Rose was assessed the penalty on Saturday after his ball moved on the 18th hole after he had addressed it. After three separate reviews of the incident using high-definition cameras and highly magnified images, officials ruled it was a violation of Rule 18-2b and he was assessed a two-stroke penalty, one shot for the ball moving at address and one for not replacing it after it had moved. But an adjustment to the Decisions of Golf (Decision 18-4) was implemented last year so that “The ball will not be deemed to have moved if that movement was not reasonably discernible to the naked eye at the time.”

Big leap of faith Huddys, but keeps an interest in it after not being able to look beyond the 2 leaders for the last couple of days, scoring looks too good, be a nice ew for Frank though and looks to have a fair chance of that.

I hope I don't jinx him, but its great to see Kaymer back operating at the peak of his powers. One swallow doesn't make a summer, but he is too good to disappear David Duval style, and I would envisage he is back to stay. A pair of balls are a crucial asset.
