See he has joined betfair and is writing a column for them on Irish racing(link on heading of main horse racing forum) Should be interesting as in the very least it caters for those who are into their Irish racing. Seems as it some have taken note as the recommended prices are a fair bit less. (have only now seen link tbf)

I have this urge to cuddle him every time I see him on, it's most strange. I imagine he has a following of bored housewifes up and down the country.
Kevin seems a lovely little fellow.I have this urge to cuddle him every time I see him on, it's most strange. I imagine he has a following of bored housewifes up and down the country.
That is an interesting point on the cuddly stuff Oz, KB has a good manner that could transfer well to terrestrial TV. Channel 4 have a problem at the minute in that people struggle to warm to Jim McGrath and Cunningham; conversely you have Rishi Persad who while likable probably wouldn't have the mind for the cut and thrust of live racing debate. People have gone further in the racing media with a lot less ability. He'd be a great foil for Nick Luck, down to the Irish lilt balancing the swaggering public school boy accent.

That gig is only a few days a year, though. One wouldn't walk from ATR for that, the C4 guys are able to combine their work with ATR too. The problem with the two lads going to RTE would be that ATR couldn't do without them for Irish Racing. Imagine Mick Fitzgerald and Kevin the jockey's agent presenting at a major Irish meeting, it would be an abomination.
