has to be Magic Florence in the 2.10 at Musselburgh @ 9/4.
This filly knew her job first time out, broke alertly, cut out much of the running for a long way but faded close home. So it is debatable if there will be much if any improvement from first to second run imo.
While at first glance the form of her debut fourth might appear strong on paper with the 2nd and 3rd having gone on and won since, if one delves a little deeper, one can see that it might not be as good as it looks with flyball running a shocker at Newmarket just the other day. The Brocklesby this year imo wasn't that strong a race and the form is quite suspect imo.
With a few well bred newcomers in the line up as well as one of the most visually impressive 2 year old winners this season in the line up, this has the makings of a big, big lay imo.

I don't know how you can say Cheerio Sweetie was " one of the most visually impressive two year olds " she won an All weather Lingfield median auction maiden.She certainly knew her job first time out,doubt much improvement there.
She is by Captain Rio who's progeny need soft ground now running on good to firm.
Magic Florence debuts in the Brocklesby Conditions Stakes at Doncaster a seventeen runner race on soft ground.
She is by Zebedee so chance she will prefer the better ground,her form is far superior to me.
The two fillies are the only ones with racecourse experience but there seems no confidence behind the colts.

Wouldn't be overly concerned about the ground, most who act around Lingield handle good to firm perfectly well and her action that day didn't scream out to me that she was crying out for cut in the ground.
This years Brocklesby was nothing to write home about imo, form is very suspect in my book.

I just think it's incredibly harsh to make your point 30 seconds after the race, it seemed you could not wait to get the boot in at an opportune moment.

Not quite sure it was 30 seconds but make up whatever suits you,your mindset is trying to maintain i was sticking a boot in,again whatever suits you to paint the worst possible picture, i read his post and objected to the word WILL,thats why i posted what i did, and it was just the truth.
Burtonwood in the 5.15 at Nottingham is a marvellous big lay at 11/10 in my book. His form is very ties in with the Brocklesby form, form which I will be looking to oppose at every opportunity. Seemed to know his job fairly well first time up at Leicester, could see him cutting out much of the running but being collared close home.
Zaeemah 7.15 Nottingham. Backed this at evens this morning. Only a matter of going down and coming back to collect I'm reliably informed.

Will be looking at the 2.05 at Musselburgh for the main play today. Where Echo of lightning is a great bet at 9/4 imo.

Abseil 1.50 Yarmouth can't for the life of me see this getting turned over. Still a flaking good bet at 8/11 in my book.
Lawyer 3.00 Yarmouth. Value at 5/2, had made him a 7/4 shot at best in this race. Doesn't have much to beat. Is very much on an upward curve with plenty of well exposed and harshly handicapped horses in the line up against him. Could make for a tasty double with Abseil also.

Longshadow 2.45 Redcar is a real good bet at 7/2 also. If it runs to within half a stone of its Pontefract run won't see another rival. Couple of dubious enough stayers in this line up too.

whats your views on lawyer? was it the trip ? you said it was an improver, thats on my notebook list, and so was the winner SHYRON
Don't think the trip was the issue. Had won well over 7f previously. Travelled like the best horse in the race for most of it, thought he got caught flat footed a furlong out and was staying on again at the finish once he found his rhythm.
