Should a particular forumite make derogatory daily references to one's late darling Mother, does one:

A) Wait for other senior Forum members to step in on you behalf and say something along the lines 'Sorry old chap, that's just not cricket'

B) Ignore it and rise above, resisting the temptation to respond in similar uncouth, uncivillised fashion

C) Remove gloves, respond in kind and unleash hell

Unsure how to proceed, cheers for pointing me in the proper direction, thanks.

Why not do what you used to do,inform.

Failing that use your new ploy delete the post.

Have never reported a single post on Irish forum.  Not one.

I was one of several posters to report a Welsh forumite many years ago on Rugby Forum.  For 12 months he called the Irish 'Micks' and went on about The Famine on a daily basis. I found that too much, personally, as did many.  He was subsequently banned.

You have accepted on here before that I do not report posts, why the U turn?

B)He is certainly not worth responding to.

It would be refreshing for one of the "traditionalists" to condemn or at the very least distance themselves from these inarticulate and crude posts.

How can an adult justify the repetitive utilisation of the "Kingofthegyppos " or something that rhymes with **** etc as entertaining banter?

DJ876 the man with the robotic cluttered brain arrived on the competition thread with a complete red herring out of pure jealousy.

He had made no contribution whatsoever but didnt like the fact Pa Lapsy was in profit so he objected to morning prices, even demanded Pa Lapsy be deducted 5 points.

There was no problem with morning prices,it was accepted by both participants and the referees but our jealous friend had to stick his oar in.
He portrays himself as some kind of betting guru, yet couldn't understand that laying one is not the same as backing another, thinks all bookmakers pay the premium charge.

He has no feel for betting, speaks in cliches and pretends he has all green books.

Wildman,

Frankly the majority of that is not worth replying to but I will reply to the parts that involve other posters.

I have often had robust debates with Pa without either of us ever resorting to a derogatory name or term. I think the point about the early prices is valid but the 5 points deduction was obviously jesting after the concession of the BOG.

The interaction on that thread this morning was a bit of banter without any personal comments from me. Pa knows he can concede on any point he wants because he is up against a punter that is not price sensitive. The majority of his bets are 40% greater than what are available on here and the extensive sample size greatly reduces Luck playing a part. I hope Pa is 40 points in profit come the end, your influence on the thread against Non-racing enthusiasts is excessive and is why I interjected.

Priced at 30/40% more on here.

LOL......have you recouped from the AFC heavy odds on escapade yet guess????and you that had the game by the balls to......

That market analysis shows you can't even follow the competition.

Kingrat generally goes for outsiders,he can't quote Betfair odds he is stuck with bookmakers prices that is the nature of the beast.
Exchange odds will always murder bookmakers odds on outsiders.

You fail to explain your irrelevant intervention, understandable as it was based solely on jealousy.
Report dj876 April 13, 2014 10:08 PM BST
His average price range is between 5/1 and 10/1 and if you think that an analysis of early markets can't elucidate to an estimate of odds that is available at fixed odds early prices (especially on the fickle markets being used) to BSP on certain markets (before you pontificate about market manipulation)you're more naïve than I thought.

How you can even comment on markets on here I am not sure when you're incapable of using any trading software and do not have access to any price related database or details of volumes traded.
Report richters April 13, 2014 10:14 PM BST
LOL...you will tell us next you traded out o the afc fiasco using trading software.....the songwriter will rescue your year with a eurovision special
Report wildmanfromborneo April 13, 2014 10:14 PM BST
You analyse markets, you use trading software, you have access to a price related database and you know the volumes traded but you still can't pick a winner, you still don't have any feel for gambling, you still don't enjoy it.

I am not a professional never claimed to have been but I love racing and gambling, its something I enjoy doing and hope to continue to do.

I was at the Curragh today, the sun was shining it was a great day I recommend you try it some time.
Report dj876 April 13, 2014 10:32 PM BST
I have never once mentioned trading out of a position on here.

I have often given detailed and accurate analysis of races but I can't pick a winner?

There is a complete absence of threads on here that incorporates anything but pre-historic all-in strategies with cold cash at the track. This dismissive and negative attitude predominately stems from the Wildman. It's as if there is respectability in losing cash if you stand by your convictions.

Anyone using this site to exclusively back/lay is wasting an opportunity unless they're profitable in outright selections.

have you ever gone racing guess?i presume not...take the advice from wildman and try it.
