It could be, it certainly would have been a huge blow for him to lose. Look at Jimmy Walker, he has completely transformed after his win. I remain a doubter about Day though. And this week will keep him underpriced for awhile.

Thanks lads, it was some rollercoster ride to the finish but he got the job done. It was the first time I've seen much of Dubusision and I thought he was very impressive,he seems a cool customer under pressure.
I'd tend to agree with callit regarding Day even though he got over the line last night. His second shot on 18 was very poor and he hit a number of poor shots after he had just seen victor leave himself in poor position. Day doesn't tend to throw it away under pressure like a Westwood or Garcia but he often finds a way to lose. He still has to do it in a major, there has been a lot of players who have won WGC's but still couldn't hack it in the majors. |

Did your all in lay on Ernie Else @ 17.0 in this outright market cost you profit (net)? I know you were correctly very sweet on See Double You (I presume you backed him with cash in the offices while your bank on here was made redundant by your ongoing lay)but SDU was trading at a much bigger price on here early doors than he was in the offices, so you were forced to take a shorter price? Perhaps your win stake was also reduced by your all in lay? I hope you were gradually laying Ernie or else your bank has shrunk by 3 bar since Rory. I assume you were watching the market closely on here on Saturday and didn't let your Buddy's winner go unbacked? (or did you break the Leop/Thul routine and make the journey) |

I only laid Els for small money at the big price,I went all in after he beat Speith on the fatigue basis mainly.
A horse I hated some years back was Recital and I made the mistake you referred to on him by tying up all my money in the ante post market. The money See Double You was trading for was tiny here anyway so I backed him for cash,I also backed Debuisson to beat Els for cash. Kasper Gutmans horse cost a mere 2,500 grand,is apparently tiny and got a real good ride to win,will never beat the runner up again and didnt carry an of my money. |
