It is a poor maiden but I can't get away from Catchy Lass. It looks like a two horse race to me and provided Catchy Lass is fit enough she has only got Scelig to beat. She has run well in much better maidens than this one and I believe her overall form is better than that of Scelig. If it comes down to a driving finish I expect Smullen to prevail.

I thought Sea Smoke was quite an eye-catcher for Cumani on his debut, but a lot of water has flown under the bridge since then and they have got rid, but interested to see how he shapes.

I didn't think Hareth would act on the surface, by Jeremy, I suspected he was a soft ground performer
. It makes me think that Our Conor could be a better horse on good ground. Dessie Hughes seems to think so.
