best of luck dinglemick, I think DOGORA with a clear round has to win ? ruby getting down to 11-2 and the form of lto with the giggy horse a touch disappointing but it was a grade 1..not sure what price it,ll be?..but may double it up with the bumper runner. no other bets for me..best of luck to all

11-2??He'd do that weight after a dozen pints and a snack box,he rode rockyaboya off 10-3 less than a month ago.

In fairness that could be just a bit of not correct English, receiving weight might have been a better way of putting it( probably as a 5 yo tis in the conditions of the race).
Thought in the 2.45 Sacre Malta may be a decent enough ew price with the few pound turnaround in the weights against likely fav Federici. |

Backed Playing e.w at 14s in the Thyestes. Up 14lb in a much better race, he would appear to have it all to do. But he absolutely hacked up last time out, having the race won a long way from home, and jumping very well. Strangely enough, at the age of 11, he seems to be still improving, and could very well be up to the task.

Callit I was talking to a owner from that yard recently . he said Tom was delight with Playing and they were more than hopeful he would run a big race , cant see it myself though...

Always get excited about the Thyestes and like many others, I will forever remember Dun Doire winning as a reserve in 2006.
Tough race to call the winner in but I have backed Ipsos Du Berlais & Rich Revival both e/w @ 16/1 Ipsos Du Berlais Ran well in the PP Chase at Christmas coming 3rd - I feel the run last weekend @ Naas night only have been a prep for today and that he has come out of the race well. I noticed that a number of bookies seemed to have temporarily dropped him from the betting earlier in the week, perhaps assuming that he wouldn't run today so soon after Saturday. I'm hoping he'll be ridden prominently/close to the pace. Will love the going. Although Carberry has opted for Hunting Party, Fox takes off a useful 7lbs and knows the horse having ridden him in the PP Chase and the Grade C Porterstown @ Fairyhouse Rich Revival His regular jockey Brian O'Connell is reunited with him after he was ridden by Adrian Heskin in the PP I'm happy with the run in the PP being pulled up 2 out Will love the going Connections have been quoted as saying he wants to go left-handed, but he has won twice going right-handed Stable in good form recently I thought Hunting Party was interesting, but he's effectively still a novice having fallen at the 1st in the PP and can't have him until seeing more g/l with you pick(s) and enjoy the race |

Your all right Tolmi I was stretched out on the couch so I'd nowhere to fall, you got the feeling if it had been ridden to get closer a bit earlier it could have been interesting but that was never going to happen with the huge weight of money for the fav.
