Wont win Tony
Think Noah Webster is thrown in off hurdles rating. Jockey is very poor but will be a 70+ horse in a few runs! Like the fact its drifting as the fancied ones seem to attract late support not early |
|
By:
You don't have a strong view on the race = No bet
Amateur Riders Handicap = No bet Dundalk = No bet |
|
By:
thanks guys appreciate the post..i admit this is not a strong area of my punting..

Might have a few quid ew on Ningaloo Reef in the 7.15, on a line through Dancing Cosmos gives him a clear beating of both Victors Beach and Our Manekineko. 10lb better of with VB for a half length and with jockey claims taken into account a full stone better off. OM beat Dancing Cosmos but was in receipt of 7lb so on all logic NR should beat both of those easily tonight?, (doesn't always work that way I know), there are of course dangers namely Deep Sound, Carenza, and Iron Major but with that big weight pull with 2 horses ahead of it in the market NR is the value for me.

You couldn't bet the odds on that DJ876 would fall for the Dundalk is a poor racecourse to bet on line, its a great racecourse to bet on.
The problem with Carried is the owner, looks a winner to me but they also have the second favourite. |
|
By:
Who falls into your net first
![]() |
|
By:
I'm losing my touch.
Carried is a stayer and probably wants further.would probably like a decent pace has the best rider. I can see Carried staying on stoutly with Papas Way in pursuit and just failing to get up. |

All weather racing in the UK and Ireland is a shocking betting medium. It ranks one step in front of the crack cocaine for gambling addicts -FOBT.
The majority of the races on the cards are maidens or low grade handicaps -Best of luck punting 45-70 rated animals (but they're course specialists). How's your 50k challenge working out? |
|
By:
The most important thing racing for me is the going, this is eliminated in Dundalk.
There are different all weather tracks in England and a lot more horses, they may be low grade handicaps in Dundalk but the form works out. |
|
By:
I wouldn't even watch all-weather racing, let alone have a bet on it.I believe that the lower grades of racing are the most inconsistent.
If you look at some of the more prominent connections involved in UK AW racing-there is a certain ring of truth to the line that if Betfair was down, the jockeys would refuse to race. |
|
By:
You said Dundalk no bet.
Its a racing certainty that you read the article in the Irish Field that had Dundalk last in the favourites list without considering why. |
|
By:
As I said if you think backing 45-60 grade handicappers represents an ideal betting medium for you, fair enough but in my opinion its banded racing and is loved by the off-course bookmakers for various reasons.
I didn't read any article about Dundalk or percentage of favourites winning at courses(presume it was percentage and not LSP?) but I presume it's because all those competitive, low grade handicaps are bookie benefits and there is no WPM walkovers etc? |
|
By:
WMFB, Carried not owned by JP as you stated above.
|
|
By:
Bugger!
|
|
By:
Dundalk only loved by off course bookmakers because they can manipulate the market.
Try getting a bet on morning prices and you will find they aren't that fond of it. |
|
By:
Possibly the best track in the country on which to have a bet on. If you put the work in the winners should follow.

|
|
By:
CARRIED looks to have a favs chance tonight, just over 9/4 with a few unknown dangers doesnt look a great price. shaizyar is
lightly raced and much better price has run well over C/D, m halford does well at those all weather tracks, papas way another unexposed type. gl all |

You would swear Ozymandius penned Roadrunners post, all angles covered.
Jane Mangan rides the in form Carried,he stays the trip and will carry my money. |
|
By:
im on now also Wildman..decided to bite the bullit..
|
|
By:
I,m not having a bet in this, thought Carried got a hard ride last, had Cottesloe over 2L behind and with the claim he is now 12lb better for the couple of lengths,at three times the price also he would normally be one i,d be interested in,however his head carriage was absolutely shocking that night and while he may consent to run on this evening be more likely he will show himself for the dog that he is.
Mojita Royale is over 2 stone better in the ratings than he was running in admittedly a few years ago,Noah Webster ran a very decent race recently over hurdles and hard to fault Papa,s Way staying on win in his maiden.Looks a hard race to me,gl anyone having a punt. |
|
By:
Who owns Carried, George Dobbs?
|
|
By:
Noah Webster for me in the last as well, will have plenty of time to get going around here so I'm hoping the jock won't be too much of an issue. In light of his recent hurdling exploits I'm finding him too hard to resist at a course he has run well at before. Given where she works, hopefully the jock is getting better too, like her mount.... she is bred to be!!

lay the 1st 2 in the betting,u will get 50% of the book(even money).thats how the pros play.any other play is for mugs!any of the 9 can win this imo.cheers and gl.

holyfield 11/4 to go tonight cbb.
value shot, likely bottom 2 vs Liz Jones, may get chosen to go despite not polling bottom. |
|
By:
That was fast, hovering over the computer worrying about this race all night without having a bet but sweating profusely.
Ozymandius you are Night Train To Munich material. |
|
By:
unexposed type won the race, as for having all the angles covered WMFB, its called reading the form, OP asked for poeples views on
the race, and gave my view of exactly how the form looked to me. 2/3 in the place money. the winner was already ratedbetter than the fav. |

Most punting in Dundalk tonight won as I did.
Even if I didnt I don't really mind losing as I am kind of used to it. |
|
By:
He is right though, you hopped on the thread the second the race was over, very unhealthy imo, and thevitriol to stick the knife in after, sums you up Ozy,you really shouldn,t be near the thread and better off watching your cbb.

Your not and you didn't win in Dundalk tonight.
Do you even look at the races or do you sit in Madame Defarge fashion knitting away hoping for others to lose. |
