The little cream

Yes  indeed , as all you teeming mass of Gaelic scholars know that's what 'Uachtarán' literally means.
'Uachtar'= cream and '-án'=the diminutive particle.
President MDH ,who is undoubtedly diminutive, has duly delivered his Christmas pration , sorry, message.
Speaking in 37 different languages he wished the Irish people a Happy Xmas and a HNY especially those who were diasporating all over the world.
He reiterated his commitment to an Ireland of boundless cultural diversity and limitless social inclusion.
He intended to open a caravan park in the Aras gardens for the use of traveller families over the holiday period after which the space they vacated would be hosed down and fumigated to recover its pristine verdure.
He further expressed the hope that the Irish people would continue to pour money into the Gaelic revival. While agreeing that it was a ramshackle language that time had left behind he suggested that you couldn't put a price on the value of a few stuttery syllables that sounded ominously like English in disguise. How would anyone know who we were unless we could cobble together a few halting words in a tongue that had lost its shape and vigour centuries ago ?
In conclusion he invoked the blessings of one of the
St. Patricks as well as the  pagan goddess St. Brigid on the Irish people.  Air ass hair , yerra go away luck.
