Coming over from the UK for Leopardstown on 9th Feb and just noticed Ireland v Wales is the previous day. Are tickets scarce to source outside on the day of the match?

Not that difficult to pick one up.

If you sniff around town the night before and morning of, poke around the major hotels/bars, its funny how often you end up with one.

Failing that you will always get one from a tout outside.  Premium should not be huge as it is only second match of the season, and nothing final riding on it per se.

Should be a good atmosphere...we want Warren Gatland's head on a stake.

Thanks Ozy - will be arriving Friday tea-time so will be able to have a scout around the night before.

Also grateful for any suggestions of decent pubs within walking distance of Lansdowne Road on international day that aren't completely mobbed out? Appreciate most will be but there might be something lurking under the radar for those with local knowledge.

Scruffy Murphys in Powers Court just off Mount St i find a good choice before and after matches.About a 15 min walk to ground.Id say most pubs will be very busy but i have always managed to get a seat at least in Scruffs....
