In the 12.55 i'll take a chance with Blue Hussar to keep the bandwagon going , Big  Break is looking to keep Welds fantastic record in this race alive and is the choice , in the 3.40 i like the look of Maktoob who showed enough on debut to suggest there is more to come ...good luck all punters...

The word on the street is Balansiya (Dermot Weld 1st race Leop) is highly regarded. Did you hear anything about her workrider?
Report pa lapsy November 3, 2013 11:52 AM GMT
Ondeafears in Big Breaks race was one of the eyecatchers of the Irish flat season for me at Listowel.Huge price today  and while it is a fair jump in class still hoping she might come late and make a place.GL

Weld thought PayDay Kitten was the bet of the week at Galway. Considered it to have plenty in hand, and that it would continue to progress. Disappointing in defeat, though I personally wasn't enamoured with the ride. Up 2lb today, and a decent contest, but if DKs assessment was right, and it usually is, it should take a bit of beating today. Worth a bet at 6.2
Report callitasucit November 3, 2013 3:11 PM GMT
Winner won well. Pay Day may be one to watch out for over further next year. Not overly knocked about there when clear winning chance had gone.
Report kingrat November 3, 2013 3:16 PM GMT
keep going m8,yre bound to get a winner.Wink

Ha!! I will King. Plenty in the tank after last nights resultsGrin. Backing Laviniad in the 3.40. Much better than the result the last day. Manning took leave of his senses and chased down Joseph on a tearaway over half a mile from home. Petrol predictably ran out. Definitely got the best horse beaten.

The Fugue cost me a 10k payout Huddys. Had 40 cent e.w super Heinz, 8-1, 13-2, 7-4, 10-11, 4-1 and The Fugue at 2s. Other won was 4th. Wouldn't mind, I backed Magician at 12.5 before the off. Cant complain, great night, but the extra 7.5k would have come in handy!!
Report callitasucit November 3, 2013 3:43 PM GMT
Unlucky King, thought ya were on a winner a furlong down. Jolly was far too free.
Report kingrat November 3, 2013 3:46 PM GMT

Backed Stony Grey e.w in the last at 9s. Lighly raced, improving sort, who looks like will improve for and is totally unexposed over staying trips.
Report huddys November 3, 2013 4:06 PM GMT
Backed Quick Jack here e/w at 8/1 off a low weight for the handicap king.

The Gotchee , I managed to get a look at her before they left the paddock , she was trace clipped , small , and not a great looker , hows that for paddock watching Laugh , went from 7/4 to 3/1 and hossed up , what an engine she has , never asked a question , luckily for me i didn't decide to lay her ..I'd have been skint , goes to show handsome is and handsome goes , i certainty got her wrong ,  well done great tip...

Report kingrat November 3, 2013 6:48 PM GMT
connections are hopeful nto but the plan is,she will make a fine a fine brood mare in time.
Report richters November 3, 2013 6:50 PM GMT
one thing for sure you will be no use as a stallion to her.......
Report kingrat November 3, 2013 6:55 PM GMT
so my advice is to watch out for her and to back her as if defeat is not an option.she will just about be spot on .

no prob m8,yre welcome.just throwing abit of inside info for the forum to digest.
Report The Gotchee November 3, 2013 7:14 PM GMT
Thanks workrider, glad you gave me that information after the race.Grin I was told she was a bit special and the best 2 y old in the yard. She looked good today but can't be sure what she beat. There was plenty of money for one or two of the others so that might explain the drift. You can be sure Weld was going to be trying to show up John Oxx with his first runner for the Aga Khan and he did.
Report kingrat November 3, 2013 7:18 PM GMT
i believe maktoob scoped badly afterwards.
Report J.R.Hartley November 3, 2013 9:22 PM GMT
Is there anything worse than having a decent e/w bet at a big price......only to watch it come fkn 4th!!!Cry
Report richters November 3, 2013 9:26 PM GMT
it was a nice price to jr 50/1 unlucky mate....

One for the notebook....Wink
Report workrider November 3, 2013 10:05 PM GMT
Ratty if you had backed them to level stakes you would have made a profit , hope that helps ...Cool
Report workrider November 3, 2013 10:07 PM GMT
The  Gotchee , as i said i got her totally wrong and would have done serious damage if laying ....Hope you got something on yourself ...
Report Slabster November 3, 2013 11:43 PM GMT
