What a wonderful response to the Trap era we have here.

Two men, one an utter disaster as a manager, the other an utter disaster in his last job. Are these the men to take these world cup winners in waiting (as we have been told over & over again during Traps tenor) to finally achieve their potential? Hilarious stuff really!

Not too mention O'Neill gracefully took an OBE from the queen, and both men wear their poppys with pride on a yearly basis, but thats an argument for another day I guess.

Mick McCarty was a contender, of whom I rate much higher than O'Neill.

Hard to see Keane being happy as a number two. Bound to end in tears. Should be good fun though.

two of the best managers ireland have produced in recent years, roy keane has alot to offer and martin o'neil is excellent motivator.
hopefully they will get rid of robbie keane. the great servant he was to the irish team.

I follow an English football team. That is not political in anyway. Martin O'Neill, Derry born and bred wears a poppy commemorating soldiers like the ones who turned up at a certain anti internment march in 1972. Something does not sit right there. James McClean took a stand, why could'nt Martin?

I personally wear my poppy with great pride. We all should.

ozy my grandfather was in the british army in world war 2 and i can tell you now there was never a poppy brought into any of my families houses and infact i told the moronic td and poppy wearing mr feighan this on a recent visit to roscommon town.........

Ah yes the Irish who fought with the Brits in WW1. The people who the British coaxed into joining their ranks, promising independence is they did so, only to throw them into the front lines and regard them as sub-human "paddies".

I'm sure people who wear the poppy remember them along with their own "fallen heroes"

Ozy, if you want to remember the Irish who fought, why not wear a white poppy which symbolizes all victims of war, including the ones the royal forces brutalized. Which the red poppy does not.

yeah frank feighen wears one, not really surprising considering he is of the blueshirt party.

Martin O' Neill will be an excellent appointment and the best available, in my opinion. Not sure about Roy Keane as his assistant but I trust O' Neill's judgement.

I'm going to it actually, will be a bit of a grudge game after the alleged racial comment in last years final. But cross by 3-4 points i think

il be going myself,cross got a great start last year and kilcoo struggled to peg them back,will be interesting,pp only have the handicap at 2 points.....might have a punt on the draw...if anything id say kilcoo have improved from last year.....
