i dont think it really matters what happened or who he played where, john delaney gave the job to an fai man once before and gave him the road after one qualifying campaign, despite him not doing that badly. he nearly laughed at some reporter who suggested noel king was in the running for the job if results went his way. probably the only reason he sacked kerr was cos dunphy et co. kept on knocking him saying he wasnt qualified to deal with big ego`s?? really?? if any other manager had done what kerr did he would have defo got another shot. so basically its all delaneys fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree, Kerr did a great job. When they did sack Kerr they should have kept him in a role dealing with the underage teams. Delaney is a politician not a Chief Executive and we all know what our politicians did to this country, well Delaney is doing something similar in the FAI. He is the Bertie Ahearne of the FAI.
