I had no problem with PP. The race was the 8.50 Dundalk. Rose Angel was a NR, as a reserve, was 12-1. Sportingbet put in a rule 4 5c on my returns. I backed the same horse with PP, Hills, Ladbrooks, Terry Rogers, 365, and they all had Rose Angel in the 10-1 > 14-1 bracket as a reserve, and NONE of them put a rule 4 on the payout. This seems unreal to me. All they have to do is make sure the 3 reserves are 14-1 or under and they can have 3 rule 4's, which seems ridiculous to put a rule 4 in for reserves.
Is this fair?

Plenty of bookies with not apply a single 5p rule 4 as a bit of a bonus.
Different bookies do different things with reserves, some bet without them in the morning, which is the best way to do it from a punter's point of view, but most include them in their morning prices and will take out a rule 4 where applicable if they don't run. Be sure to read the T&C's of your bookmaker before getting involved.

Roger its pure robbery deducting for a reserve and also wrong. Demand they refund the criminal deduction,Ladbrokes started pricing the reserves for the sole purpose of getting deductions but have stopped due to the protests. You can't have a situation where the bookmaker is guaranteed a host of deductions.
