Its hard to credit alright... Grown adults battling to get one over each other on an anonymous forum.. Its a pity because the sports threads can be interesting and informative but few and far between and generally descend into schoolyard name calling..

it's a shame alright wallace,a few very knowledgeable folk have been forced to boycott the irish forum,And who could blame them?
Having said that,There's still the odd 1 or 2 who know their stuff that still post. |
By:
sadly i think its too late lads , even if the 7/8 gob s hit es were banned they have destroyed what once was the best forum on here!
By:

By:
No point in moaning about it, nothing to stop ye starting a few threads yourselves.
By:
i agree that tobywong, there where a lot of good posters but others forums where much better, the greyhound forum used to be great and the boxing forum was top class too, however that forum has gone the way this one due to one lunatic

I agree with Lapsy. Contribute rather than criticise.

By:
here we go.
![]() |
By:
![]() i will be honest, i will not contribute anything worthwhile on this forum anymore - pointless and i'd dread to think someone i could not stand would actually benefit from something i put up on here |
By:
No, not at all Oufie, certainly not meant as anything inflamatory from me,accept there can be a bad vibe on here at times, then again when was the last time some thats complaining hit the create topic button.
By:
Sorry ,I was not referring to you at all Pa.
By:
Exactly...contribute to or create a discussion that you would like to see on here. Its almost as if some want to turn up and be educated/entertained/informed without actually contributing themselves.
Right now we need everyone hands on deck, not criticising from the stalls. |

Premier Fantasy is a short tempered gentleman who has shown his true colours here.
He has been banned previously and his malevolent side is shown by his dread of someone benefitting from anything he would post. His bets on the Irish Greyhound Derby are similar to the Charles Byrnes stable lad who laid Solwhit as they stick out like a sore thumb. It is obvious to me that the bet on the Irish Derby was for Larry Dunne as the size of win is totally inconsistent with the commission paid. |
By:
wildman i don't bet for Larry - Larry had 100,000-18,000 on the night of the final and my bets including the ones i had off course as well are a pittance to what he betsi don't use betfair for betting as they never put markets up for irish greyhound racing and when they do the liquidity is usually terrible, the only reason i got bets on during the derby [outright] is down to a poster called lanza [real name Ben] from Wales who used to do a book at Swansea flaps you don't believe me i am hapy to introduce you to Larry and he will tell you exactly the same |
By:
yes toby that nutcase
By:
I know he had that bet off Ted Hegarty but that wasn't his only bet.
Why Betfair let people who don't bet with them use their forum is a mystery to me,if they kicked them off there would be no Rocketfingers,no Ozymandius,no Kingrat,no Irish Guy,no Tobywong maybe then it could revert to the brilliant forum it was fado fado. |
By:
wildman you like workrider who i was talking too on the phone yesteday, if you think i am one of them non bettors ask him how i bet!!
i have learned where my talents lie and they ain't betting horses [you'd be much better than me at that] / football or others sports, they are betting dogs that i spend hours doing the cards for so now a little older and wiser i mainly stick to that and seen as betfair never have markets up for Shelbourne and only put a Derby market uo after the English Derby i rarely use here i still mess about on here but all my serious punting is done elsewhere, mainly on course |
By:
I know you bet alright which is why your not on the list.
I think you are right to concentrate on what you know and wish you all the luck although the way things are going dog wise you may run out of bookmakers. Its a long time since I was at Shelbourne Park but I am told its a shadow of its former self. |
By:
Wildman you insulted the man earlier now you've come down off your high horse.
