Heading up there tomorrow and having looked at the race, I couldn't back Geoffrey Chaucer. I think it's between Exogenesis & Oklahoma City. To my mind they have the best form lines in the race.
O'Brien has won this race 6 times in the last 9 renewals and all 6 were odds-on favourites, but we have all seen in the last few seasons that they don't mind putting the punters away with the supposed 2nd string coming in ahead of a well fancied stablemate.
I happened to be near the winning post at Leopardstown when Geoffrey made his debut in July and there was plenty of slagging between the stable lads directed at the Coolmore guys over the manner of the win, I guess we'll know alittle more after Welds filly runs in the 2.40
On a side note, I see that O'Brien was blaming the blinkers on Oklahoma for the result last time out, but they remain in place for this race!

Very short now(1.57) with Exogenisis a n/r,while a couldn,t back G C at that price in a fit, only dangers now look his stablemate and Altruistic. Altruistic did the job well in that maiden winning handily, while Juniper Tree in that almost certainly didn,t give his running a literal look of the form would have Altuistic almost on a par with Austrailia.Think Johnny may well set the pace and might kick and try and steal it at some stage. A tentative selection at the prices to upset the fav for me.

If i was backing one of O'BRIENS today it would be , Gurre , on looking at his run at the Curragh you would have to be taken with his attitude ..Always prominent , he quickened up nicely before running a little green , sure to have learned a lot from that...

Fairly impressed myself, though on the one viewing i saw thought Shamie did a good job in harrying Altruistic, probably wouldn,t have mattered in any case.
