My first deleted post Laugh  Purely factual.  Sometimes the truth is very unplatable
Report freddiek September 9, 2013 4:39 PM BST
the truth about bloody sunday was very unpalatable to the british Ozy, which is why they avoided facing up to it for so long. I didnt see your deleted post but presumably u addressed this

I took some facts about the run up to BS from wikipedia, freddie, whilst codemning the actions of the soldiers and lamenting the tragic loss of civillian life, I attempted to put BS into some basic context.

Anyway...

I don't think you had post deleted Ozymandius, when a post is deleted the number of replies doesn't tally with the number on the top line, they do on this thread.

I had a post deleted.(-probably an editorial accident.)The thrust of the post was that if the deceased in question ended up in the fiery furnace he would find himself uncomfortably surrounded by a slew of individuals who belonged to the organisation whose acronym is an anagram of AIR and who had, while on earth, deliberately deprived many people of their lives.I think we know the word for such actions -it's an anagram of durmer.

Sure he will be grand with the millions of other British terrorists for company.

wmfb -you think the Eye Or A were qualified to declare a 'war' ?
I thought that was a prerogative of sovereign nations and that there would necessarily be a role for authorised people ( parliament/congress etc.) to instigate such activities and to conduct them within certain conventional rules of engagement.

I am astounded to see my post removed, they probably never heard of Erwin Rommel must have thought it was some code.

WALOB! Extremely naive and unrealistic. Nobody born in the last quarter of the 20th century onward swallows any of that rubbish.

The ugliness and horror of war is not at issue nor the capacity of human beings of every stripe to inflict all kinds of suffering on others.

Agreed.

Why highlight the horror one side committed to combat the horror the other side 'legally' committed ? Why continue to tarnish entire communities for defending themselves ?
This only acts to destabilize any process in finding permanent solutions.
