Terrific drifted alarmingly in the first but won well over an inadequate trip.

The two sprints both won by British trained horses, the handicap won by Corporal Maadox is one ye must have a look at again, just follow the race run by Nero Emperor extraordinary to me and looks a future winner where ever he goes.

This will annoy Silvergreaser but I first saw War Command on Phoenix Stakes day,I had a good look at him that day I am not saying he wasn't fit because its hard to gauge at first viewing but it was a different looking War Command on Saturday.I think they thought it was an easy Phoenix Stakes ( which it was ) and they felt they could win it with a not fully fit War Command, they didnt get away with it.
He won well but was not impressive to me and is no Guineas candidate, would like to take him on in some of the top two year old races later on this year.

Ernest Hemingway was well beaten but he is a pure fast ground horse and can be forgiven that run.

Borneo, are you tuning into Celebrity Big Brother?  There is a man after your own heart in there, Big Ron Atkinson.

Not racist. Just old.  Allegedly.

Extraordinary race indeed by Nero Emperor,in fact he was going so well at furlong pole W L had to take such an evasive manoeuvre to avoid being brought down. A good spot.
My girl Voleuse de Couers also hadn,t the ground really to her liking but still ran very well and with soft in the ground will be thereabouts in the Irish leger.

I was there on Saturday and it was a fines days racing. Free in for E Toll card holders. I think Terrific only drifted because of the money for Bolgers. Terrific clearly the form horse. I think War Command looked really good but the 7 furlong trip suited and I doubt the opposition will amount to much long term. He looked a treat in the parade ring and clearly was a bright future. Don't agree that Phoenix Stakes was a soft touch. Sudirman has a big future.
If you look at the race times it is obvious the rain the fell during the afternoon got into the ground for the later races.
Johnny Murtagh at his billiant best on Royal Diamond the highlight for me. Must have a good chance of a repeat St.Leger.

AOB won't have really got stuck into him since the Coventry as he gave himself a hard race that day. Winning a Coventry is job done at 2 for a horse like this and is more than they could have expected as he will be a staying miler/10f horse next season. A Coventry win is probably more important to him as stallion than a Group 1 National stakes over 7f or even the Pheonix(because of the time of the year) as it shows the horse is fast and precocious.

Getting a horse like him to win a Coventry is some achievement. Sudirman is a very good horse, Wachman always plays his horses down.

I remember Nero Emperor trouncing his rivals in an ordinary Dundalk maiden a few years ago off a long absence and thinking he was going to be a serious sprinter (clearly a horse that's had problems). They must be persevering for a reason and I'd say he could be pattern class in Irish terms. Good spot wildman.

fillies race won by terrific 1st / witches brew 2nd / peony fairy 3rd, that race was faster (0.91) than the group 2 race
won by war command. keep in mind those two will and should be winning soon. disagree about the phoenix race, because
sudirman and WC had both won group 2's before that race, and winner had a better pedigree for speed. any good form reader
would of picked up on that. as for WC for the future, have to wait and see what happens before end of the year. oh nearly
forgot that was sudirmans 3rd race at the curragh, thats was a big advantage on the day, no doubt about that. will be
interesting to see how the ratings for 2013 2yos will look at the end of year.

I'd say he was on him alright,no sign of the Wildman.
Has he been banned,on a sabbatical or maybe he is missing his old ally?.

Probably was on judging by the way he wrote the opening paragraph,
Did say he was travelling abroad(not when) so that could be it.
Only other reason and it coincides with the time as well would be that betfair comm. reminder, did say on there that the site wasn,t moderated so someone was obviously reporting him nonstop.
