Waterford management have a lot to answer for there. Why persist with the short puckouts? The one puckout he took properly he landed on the full forward line ffs.

They were there for the taking tonight. Waterford did all the hurling but just hadn't the forwards. If Mullane was playing they'd have won.

Sneaking suspicion tonight was the night to get KK after the massive effort last week etc, they've regressed a lot but the one or two class forwards like Power & Hogan are still something other teams don't have.

16 men is an understatement refs hate Kilkenny for been successful if it was soccer you get the total opposite successful teams get the benefit?

Was 1.01 taken after Ruth's "point"?
Also how low were KK at 5 points up in the last 10 mins?

I can't believe some of the comments made here regarding the refs and their hatred re Kilkenny. In the last 3 matches they played the stats will show Kilkenny scored 0-12 v Dublin's 0-4 from frees. It was 0-10 vs 0-04 in their favour v's Tipp and 1-06 vs 0-1 in favour of Kilkenny last night. Added to this he overruled the umpires to award the goal from the penalty (correct call). He consulted with the umpires regarding the square ball as he should do. However, the umpires obviously made the wrong call. As for the final whistle, I think we can agree that he had blown the whistle when Shane Fives was in possesion.

Kilkenny got more frees?? Ever think that might be because they were fouled a hell of a lot more maybe?
They were quite happy to give Kilkenny a point from penalty until the players caused uproar.and rightly so.
As far as the square ball goes the Waterford forward could have been charged rent he was waiting in the square so long.Ok the umpires must take a lot of blame, but  the ref was inept if he didn't see it or didn't want to see it.

Everybody loves too see the underdog win,but its not the refrees job to level the playing field.Terrible performance from Owens and hopefully we see no more from him for the rest of the championship.

I suggest Sir that you read your Betfair Rules Book and educate yourself on the difference between a tied match and a drawn match.

The massive difference lately on betting on handicaps in GAA is that the favourites no longer ease up when they have the game won because of the intense competition for places.-A pleasing development because they were markets I used to ignore.
