Was nt impressed with them at all last week myself - ridiculous amount of frees made em look a lot better than they were!
By:
imo they were the greatest team i have ever seen but they are no where near that now.they were a fcking atm machine for me but i never let sentiment interfere with my betting.....they are struggling up front and dont have that slickness and ruthlessness to kill off teams with goals anymore imo....cuteness and experiance they have in abundance but will that be enough?the question is...can the cats bring again that level of intensity and physical punishment to the cause yet again because they will need to against this waterford team that will be up for it and smell blood.i just think the cats have got to be feeling it now and at the price i'm in.

IMO King, the biggest problem Kilkenny have is that they aren't producing the classy young forwards they were a few years ago. Walter Walsh is a good addition, but he is more in the ball winning Martin Comerford mould than a real brilliant forward. Paddy Hogan is probably the best of what they have produced of late and I wouldn't be sold on him.
Richie Power is a very good player who could be a great player, he'd want to get on with it though. |

during the week i said to a colleague of mine from tip who was in nowlan pk who is obviously biased.... "they will just not lie down!".... and he said "thats because it was infront of their home crowd against tip but that game will have took alot out of the fckers boy!"

GL with the bet, it would be great for Waterford hurling if they could pull it off. I wonder does Mullane regret going now given the way the championship is panning out.

Done Waterford to cover the hcap myself - obv we all know if KK return to the form we know they can show it could b a cricket score but nothin i have seen the last 3 weeks from them suggests they should be 1/6 here
By:
Waterford have 2 chances Bob hope and no hope.Have been relying on young Shananan to do all their scoring so far,if that's the case they will be eaten alive by the Kilkenny backs. Shefflin and Michael Fennely are subs so plenty of ammo there, and Rice starts today. Kilkenny got their scare and will lay down an early marker in this one. Kilkenny by 7.
By:
Well the hcap is 7 so i av a chance den

Hey don't let me put you off. Maybe they will have a good gameplan and run at the cats defence.?
The rats 16/1 is fair enough too. But I still think the cats will lay down the law here. |

Interesting thread title...
It was the end of an era when Dublin beat them in the league final a couple of years ago. Ok they are not the team of 5 years ago..but ambushed by this lot.....no chance i say, no chance.. I dont think it takes it out of them...i see a team getting ready.... and they fcuckin love it by... Im a Dub, so ill be looking for a trade....Killkenny will win though.. |
By:
boyo
By:
Jesus knows....i love these two corner backs....
By:
Why the two umpires dont stand back.....ffs
By:
Deplorable standard of hurling in that first half. Waterford were well on top but made some bizarre positional switches.
By:
poor..yes...
By:
1.01 BUSTED....
By:
Easy money
but Jaysus how bad were the Waterford forwards - should have walked thatGood final whistle by the ref there too - hope Waterford can do it in Extra time! The amount of ball they just handed to kk was unreal |
By:
And on a side note what a performance from Kevin Moran! Was nearly a 1 man team
By:
Good final whistle? Unheard of to blow in that situation. Spineless cheat of a ref,but im sure the neutrals wont agree!
By:
Abysmal stuff....What was Shefflin doing..could have kept the ball in hand with seconds left but chose to flick it inside to a Waterford man....shocking..
By:
Irish, with respect you're talking rubbish.
Watch it back, he was clearly blowing the whistle before it was apparent Ruth was getting the ball. Agree with BJG, Waterford should have won easily. |
By:
Kilkenny way off the pace and look finished. Waterford abysmal too.
By:
Nah be honest, the Kilkenny man was in the clear, and no way was he allowing the cats win it at that stage.
By:
Jaysus that was mighty close....he blew when he saw the man get ball to hand....dicey stuff ..
By:
Ruth had nt got the ball i dont think wen the whistle blew - had it blown b4 it reached him i thought and could nt hear the 1st blow with the noise as he did the usual 3 blow finish ? Will see in the highlights anyway
By:
Shefflin hardly touched the ball....when he did they got an equaliser.
By:
Was thinking..he would never have blown in Nowlan park..madness really..
Some idiot has suspended 'qualify' market too. |
By:
whys the market suspended?
By:
incompetence
By:
Waterford keeper must have backed Kilkenny, 3 straight puckouts over the line or to a KK man.
