Hi Lads being missing for a few weeks the laptop had packed in,up and running again,just went for small bets this week in europe went for Donald e/w at 14/1 and in the pga went for Phil e/w aswell at 14/1 aswell,and also done a e/w on both,just hoping they carry their form in from he us open,best of luck with your bets.

Win or lose there is value in the 50/1 Roberto Castro - am on at the early 66s but 50s still to big imvho given some of those ahead of him in the market!
2nd in the At+T last week where he showed a decent attitude and didnt fall away in the final round shooting a 69 and has 3 top 25s in the 5 tourneys before also
Was 7th here last year when he shot rounds of 63 and 64 and is a better player this year
Scott Stallings 40/1 is a winner in waiting this season too - has 3 top 5s in his last 5 tournaments with two tied 4ths at the Memorial and Crown Plaza Invitational and a T2 in the St Jude Classic. Won this in 2011 so his game obv suits it around here
Anders Romero 100/1 an enigmatic player who has been in the doldruums for a while but just lately has been showing signs of a revival in form with a T24 at the Travelers and was T13 at the AT+T and was well in contention before a final round 75. Is a massive driver and that should stand him well here! Had a brilliant first round 65 last year but missed the cut after losing the plot in the 2nd round with a 75 and was 4th here in 2011

Of the ones at the top of the market the ones standing out to me are Kaymer and Poulter but have left em alone, this Kaymer is just a bit too short even tho he is coming back to form and Poulter doesnt win near enough as often as he should to be 25s.
Marcel Siem 40/1 - Reigning Champion - 3 time European Tour winner including the Trophee Hasaan this season - played v well for a long way in the Us open b4 the final round took its revenge and was a solid T10 in the BMW International last week
Miguel Angel Jiminez 50/1 - An old timer at this stage but has bounced back to form this season and playin very well, seasons form reads 16,MC,4,14,19,26 so is showing a good level of form - won this in 2010
Peter Uihlein 55/1 - One of the surprise packages of the season - a winner of the Madeira Open in May he has held his for v well with 12,21,10,32 finished in his next 4 tournaments! Was the one to beat after 2 rounds of the irish open but had 2 disappointing final rounds of 74,77 to finish 36th. First time playing this but has a very solid all round game

Just one backed this week Bernd Weisberger in France at 42's, W & place here. Have Gary Woodland in Pga event, but not matched yet.
Weisberger right in the thick of things, might be close to lead as top 3 have some tough holes coming up.

Now hopefully Walker can become the 3rd player in a row to break his maiden tag at the Greenbrier.

Watching Sky Sports News there, showing G Mac holing his winning putt, then proclaiming....he gives us a great chance of a British success in the Open. F*ck off. Its Bad enough they have claimed a Scot and a South African already this Summer, now they want a piece of us again too. Its Britain when their not English,.... Britain never mentioned when they are English. Shower o cun*s. Hopefully G Mac can indeed pull it off, and bring it back to Ireland. Again. *****n cun*s.
Rant over.......I think Blixt is worth a bet at 10 tonight. Personally think the two leaders are an accident waiting to happen. Blixt pretty inconsistent, but that hasn't harmed G mac this year!! He looks like he has plenty of bottle when in contention, and is most likely to pick up the pieces. Have also just laid the two leaders. Hopefully they back out soon.

Blixt putting could prove key as he is outstanding in that department even though the 2013 stats don't suggest it.

Our second selection this week is the 29 year old Swede Jonas Blixt. After an excellent end to the 2012 season where he followed up some mid-season promise (9th in the Wells Fargo and 3rd in the Byron Nelson) by winning the Frys.Com Open and finished 3rd in the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open, it is fair to say that 2013 has been a disappointment for Blixt. He started the season with a solid 18th in the Hyundai Tournament of Champions but followed this by missing 6 of the next 8 cuts and posted a best finishing position of 34th in the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.
However there have been some recent signs that Blixt is starting to find some form again. He missed the cut last week at Congressional but that is a much more difficult venue than he faces this week. Previous to that he was 43rd in the Travelers Championship and an excellent 11th at Colonial in the Crowne Plaza Invitational with four sub 70 rounds. In between these two events he played the Nordea Masters in his native Sweden where he posted -18 and finished second to Mikko Ilonen and had some bang in form players such as Bernd Wiesberger and Thomas Bjorn behind him.
Blixt has not played this event so far and his 2013 stats do not make compelling reading, but at his best he is an outstanding putter and his around the green game is excellent. Blixt ranked 2nd in Strokes Gained Putting on the PGA Tour last year, 16th in Scrambling, 2nd in Par 4 Performance, 1st in Sand Save Percentage and 14th in Par Breakers.
He has clearly not replicated this form this season but still ranks a respectable 67th in Strokes Gained Putting and an excellent 23rd in Scrambling. His tee to green game has let him down but the difficult venues that he has faced have left little room for error. He has proven in the past that these shorter, slightly easier venues are ones where he can find birdies and his scoring on the short but difficult Colonial course gives us grounds for optimism that his season is about to go on an upward curve.
Blixt obviously comes with an element of risk attached but the 125/1 with Coral, Skybet and Totesport does compensate for this. He was one of the brightest talents on the Tour last year and this looks like the type of venue that can see him take a further step in the right direction again.

Excellent stuff. I have been a big fan of him myself, was on him when he won the frys.com. Had him in an each way double with Branden Grace the week he was third, before that. He was like Luke Donald in disguise the week he won, getting up and down from everywhere. That stood him in good stead early doors last night, kept his round going. Considering how emotional he was afterwards, and how much it obviously meant to him, its testament to his bottle how well he kept it together on course. Only shame is, that his sister wasn't there......absolute cracker
With his wayward driving, he is probably always going to be slightly inconsistent, but he knows how to get the job done when in contention, which is far more important and profitable than finishing top 30 every week. Just ask G Mac!!

Yes when I saw him interviewed afterwards I was surprised how emotional he was about it as he looked quite relaxed on the course.
26 putts was excellent under that pressure and he should be able to kick on from this now with his card secure for next year and the invites secure for some of the really big events. Not really going to be someone to back at the likes of Muirfield Village, Congressional and tough tracks like that but there are plenty of opportunities out there for him.

Walker had a stomach bug it seems. It might explain why he seemed so quiet and so disinterested to an extent. He also went for some crazy 8 irons when an easy 6 iron seemed far better option (not that I can execute either!!).

Yup Walker was ill, still has to prove he has the balls for a finish tho so would nt entirely blame it on the stomach!
Walker has a stomach problem alright, no stomach for a battle. Cant see him ever winning. Will give backers an occasional e.w return, but is on my list of lads not to back. It will have to absolutely fall into his lap, for him to get over the line. Had an opportunity a couple of months back, and took iron off the 18th tee, when needing bird to potentially make playoff. Was more interested in protecting his high finish. Stomach problem diagnosed there and then. Lady Gaga has more balls than that chap.

Powers already going 7 places on British Open. After very few offerings for US Open, there should be quite a few concessions for this. A couple of years ago at St. Andrews, Powers actually looked into the cost of paying out on ten places, but it wasn't feasible. Hopefully the price and concession war begins early!!
