I think Farage is a great speaker and stands up for his own. I hate the EU and all that it stands for just like I hate globalisation and this pretence that we are all the same when clearly we are not. |

Nice to hear any doubts removed today by Alan Shatter when commenting on the refusal of the Nuns to pay their way in the redress scheme. He comments on how he cant force the nuns to pay and it is a question of morals.
He then proclaims how he wants to remove the idea of a redress scheme where claimants must describe what happened to them during their time in care. He wants to call it restorative justice and give them money with no proof needed. Basically a private organization commits a crime and is let off Scott free whilst the tax payer of today who committed no crime is expected to pick up the tab by firing cash at anyone who claims they were victims with NO proof needed |

The softening up process is now complete,RTE have had all the soft interviews and as an organisation that does nothing other than milk the state what started as " a few oul bob for Christmas presents and trips to Lourdes " has now escalated to huge lump sums and new pension rights and preferential treatment in health care.
Alan Shatter was never going to defend the state,far easier to be the nice compassionate man giving others money away. The religious orders are perfectly right not to contribute as they did no wrong,this was a time of poverty and no welfare these girls were starving and being preyed upon by unscrupulous people,they provided them sanctuary. The knock on effect of watching people being enriched because of events of years ago will embolden the legal profession to seek out new groups for compensation,any prisoner who spent one day in jail in Ireland are entitled to something for slopping out " a few oul bob in the twilight of their lives " this will lead to women who were forced to retire on getting married,the list is endless. The millions being doled out by judges for birth defects when its no ones fault has to cease,one sad case a baby born with multiple defects parents sue get awarded seven odd million the baby dies result a very wealthy family,lump sums should not be awarded an allowance should be paid. |
