fair play to bolger,he got it right, just about.i thought he was reaching here tbh.the horse is all guts.

I would have been a massive layer in running after 3 furlongs with the horse mimicking his Epsom antics and I thought it would have been higher than the 5.0 it was matched here.Won that on pure guts.

Great race and two proper horses. He'll do well to get the Hannon horse off the bridle before deep inside the furlong at Goodwood though. Toranado is made for that track. Great to have a good bunch of 3yo milers around, first time in a few years. Dawn Approach is a great horse.
Mars will be a top class horse over middle distances and kept on well for each way backers. |

Thought Ryan Moore would have made a bit more use of Mars today, rode him for a turn of foot against that lot of speedsters.

Yeah maybe, he was nudging very early after only a furlong or 2 as if he was struggling to go the pace, maybe he didn't want to disrupt his rhythm. Lovely 10f horse anyways.

Just observing him as he came from far back in his previous two runs but was close to the pace today but restrained in 3rd or 4th for most, would have been interesting if he made a bit more use out of him I just thought, might have been beaten half the track but I think the horse kinda sulked
