interesting gordon elliott sends this fella over to aintree for a maiden hurdle with jason maguire takin the mount,the 5 time flat winner has finished 3rd in his last two starts on tight tracks at downpatrick and tramore on soft ground,it looks a two horse race between him and the rose dobbin potomac and the dobbin yard is hardly setting the world on fire at the minute,will be interesting does money come for goal considering its in the ownership of football agent willie mackay,hoping for no more rain tommorow and i will take a chance on this one....currently 9/4 on here......can see it being shorter.....

I won,t be too gone on him Richters,getting beat a fair way in maiden hurdles at them 2 tracks wouldn,t amount to much imo,saying that he is improving.Now a much more realistic 7/2-4/1.
Potomac is rated 9lb higher,decent 2nd last time and Irish form in giving Bold Thady Quill a beating twice is quite smart flat form.
Shelford gave the disappointing Dougal Philips a beating on the flat.
Smart enough flat form among others making their nh debut.Hobbs horse has shown decent form in France, Rock A Doodle Do has run with credit in big handicaps and is rated as high as 97 on the flat,Ancient Greece has very decent form on snow(yep

Too many questions with the opposition for me to fancy Goal but best of luck with him.

Rock a doodle do seems best at Ascot and other all weather typ surfaces I think lads, ye could nearly discount him?
