5.25 YOUNG FINNEGAN the bumper win lto at cork was a great improvement on his run over hurdles at fairyhouse..if his jumping improves then tyners horse could be tough to beat with ruby up YORK 2.45 TRADING LEATHER if the ground comes right for him i think hes a great price i believe he is very ground dependent..so good ground is a minimum for bolger's inmate..hannons horse never did much for his form at windsor the other night but the hannons think a fair bit of montiridge
Tipperary 2moro is a goodish card and they should have nice NH ground. Also as its P2P day they should have a very decent crowd. Must have a look at the races later, as I do not want to put something up and be chastised later by 'FORUM EXPERTS' for not doing my homework............
The Dante at York will no doubt burst a few bubbles, but I find it surprising that Telescope is out, for what I think are lame/ish excuses. Greatwood must be the owners (Ballymaccoll Stud) best, and with Fallon up (was suspended for last saturday, when Greatwood was withdrawn), he will surely go off fav. APoB has a chance surely as does your fancy Tony, but imho if Greatwood cant win this, English stables will be struggling to put up any opposition to Dawn Approach, but having said that, this Dante can throw up a surprise result. I'm surprised APoB hasn't 3/4 in the race..........KF to bag this one for me so ...........

Less than a length between Windhoek,Ghuarir and Greatwood in the tatts million at Newmarket-U'd imagine they were all reasonably forward considering the prize money. The fourth horse Havana Beat was beaten 8 lengths last week by Ruler of the world at Chester(ran very free and perhaps didn't handle the track but defintely didn't frank the form) The fifth horse in the tatts million was Fehaydi who has subsequently finished 5/7 off 88 in a handicap.
I thought Indian chief was really impressive at Leopardstown(the second horse Dubai Deer has since won an average maiden)-he travelled up really sweetly as he did on his debut but the ground he faces tomorrow will be a lot faster than he has previously encountered but perhaps it won't be a problem judging the way this son of Montjeu travels.
Indian chief's debut run at Navan is definitely worth a look-He travelled all over loch Garman(subsequently won a group 1 at Saint Cloud and ran respectably in Derrinstown last Sunday)he was outbattled but the way he travelled had class written all over it.
I think 3/1 is a fair price on Indian Chief-I think it'a massive advantage when trying to analyse a race if a few of the competitors have similar form. I would much prefer to have Ryan Moore up than JOB- he is 3/4 lbs better for tactical nous alone.

Yes indeed slabster, Highclere, and not Peter Reynolds, sometimes you wonder does anybody really read a post, rather than glance at it. Todays Dante is somewhat similar to Black Sam Bellamy's race a few years back, anyone of 5/6/ could win it, and alot of them will threaten to win it, but who hits the lollypop first is a six-marker. Greatwood could reverse running with Windhoek, but Ghurair could improve also, as Johnny G is so slippery. I think its just a race to watch, and will probably result in Dawn Approach shortening for the big one.................

Ballyreesode 6.00,7/2 gen. Trademark Carberry on this last time, came there swinging turning in,mistake at the last and pushed out to win very snugly.Gets 10lb penalty for that and the runner up at Ballinrobe reaopposes on 6lb(13lb including claimers allowance) better terms for 4lens still don,t think its enough. Marshim won well lto over c+d,the 11 year old is now on a career high mark and while consistent doesn,t win too often(2 from 26). Struggling with the rest, dismissed Rolling Rocket on a line with the selection through Martin Cash,Hasty Times ran fair races against Rory O Moore and Mount Benbulben a couple of seasons ago though showed little on his last run.Battlemounts 2nd to Fiery Oscar reads well, poor effort though last time, heavy ground here might suit. Clancy Strand finished 80l behind Marshim last time, drifted that day and is better than that.Black Cache is 7lb better off with Marshim may give him a place chance. The remainder make no appeal. All in all think the selection is improving and while his last 2 wins were on soft, hope the ground will be okay for him. Think Telescope is out due to getting antibiotics for a cut Jay,think they are afraid of tests later. Young Finnegan was impressive last time Tony, can,t for the life of me catch a Tyner horse,so i,ll swerve him. Such an eyecatching run that Indian Chiefs maiden, wouldn,t have a strong opinion on the race but can see why you are with him dj. Thought race fit proven group Dalkala must have a good chance with many of her rivals making their reappearance.GL with your punts.

Turn up-Poor trial, they were in a line a furlong out.Indian Chief was disappointing =ran similar to his debut run ,flattened out.
JOB wouldn't have win the race but god he looked untidy, blessed to have the job he does but for how long more?

Thought he could have switched his whip, looked the winner 2 out as you say bottomed out,Trading leather stayed on again after playing up a bit beforehand, not a bad return and a possible place bet for the derby,be gas if he managed to win it.

Agreed on that dj.....Workforce was the last participant in the Dante to go on to Epsom victory, and Authorised was the last Dante winner to claim the Epsom crown. None of todays runners have any real hopes of winning at Epsom, but some will have a go at it, no doubt.
When I said Black Sam Bellamy earlier I should of course have done my homework,(and not rely on memory),as BSB never took part in a Dante, but the year that I had on my mind was 2009 when Crowded House with a bloated reputation was sent off 2/1 fav., and ran a shocker behind APoB's Black Bear Island 12/1 winner......
I dont see any danger to Dawn Approach, and he will surely stay,or at least get away with it once against weak opposition. Also I was surprised to hear APoB say that dry firm ground would improve Battle of Marengo. My impression taken from seeing BoM run is 'Curragh Derby on soft ground', and a great chance of that with our constant summer rain..........

good run form the dante winner today, looks a better bet than dawn approach at the prices, both from the same sire. recent history proves the dante has been a good trial for derby winners. gl all

no word dj just like the breeding, dandy mans offspring have been in the winners and a half brother to a 2yo debutant winner.....very worrying drift but.......

I remember when i worked in a bookmakers in Cardiff to help finance myself through Uni (though i'd add that in ;)), there was an absolute mug punter used to lose every single Saturday i knew roughly what he earned in a week as he used to lose it all, quite sad really but you'd likely get a slap if you said anything to him. Anyway one Saturday it was betfred gold cup day or what ever it was called back then everything he bet won, it was crazy, never seen the like of it before his bets got bigger as the day went on and he kept winning, by the Monday afternoon he had it given back. Richters today is your day and you remind me of this guy so congrats and i'm delighted for you but spend it and don't give it back amigo, if you have any friends go for a drink with them and if you have enough winnings left over get burger with some cheese on top, splash out with what you've won but don't give it back.

And thanks rocket for giving us a little snippet on life in Wales, and I take you are referring to the fictional character in the video game Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 when you use the 'Uni', abbreviation, but weren't you the one outside the counter in that Cardiff office.....
