DARK CASTLE 1st 7/1 6f class 4 first win of 2013, the horse had previously beaten the smart mezzotint a class 2 winner.
the clues were there this horse was good. someone did mention theres alot of good dark angel 4yos around.(dark angel) CLOWANCE ESTATE 3rd 5/4 in class 2, once again stepped up in class, beaten less than 1 3/4 lengths giving winner 6 lbs a listed placed horse.(teofilo) AWAKE MY SOUL 3rd 15/2 in class 2, another one stepped up in class, beaten less than 1 3/4 lengths, winner nabucco had impressed LTO, went off fav.(teofilo) still good runs from the beaten horses,and improved performances. |

GOLD TOP 1st 7/2 7f gf stayed on strongly 15 ran class 4 maiden, only had the two runs so far (teofilo)
LUNETTE 1st 10/1 7f gf remained hard pressed got the better of third final 120 yards, just held on from late surge of runner up candy kitten. only had 3 runs so far (teofilo) TRADING LEATHER (WNTO) has risen to top place for teofilo progeny and made it number 11 on the WON NEXT TIME OUT LIST |

BROUGHTTON 2nd 10/11 10f gf class 2, yesterdays race was a 3 runner race and the winner had already bagged a class 2 race (teofilo)
peviuosly and won at 5/2 red avenger. broughton had only won a class 4 LTO. HOLY ANGEL 2nd 11/2 6f class 5 beaten a nose, had 27 races and won 3 times, very hard to win with. not convinced myself (dark angel) FLORA MEDICI 1st 11/8 6f gf class 6 selling stakes won by 5 lengths, winning the the lucky 4th race of career (sir percy) LADY PIMPERNAL 2nd 8/1 beaten a neck 12f gf class 4 raced 6 times, 2nd twice and 1 win. looks a good type (sir percy) |

HEERAT 2nd 15/8 beaten 1/4 length in listed class, stepped up on previous efforts, the winner was well in jwala, in that race (dark angel) MALCHIM MIST 2nd 9/4 class 2 beaten a length, market spoke volumes for the fav, and duly obliged, still improved performance (dark angel) still only lightly raced and only a 2yo |

DARK CASTLE 3rd class 3, 1st and 2nd were both drawn low. high draw didnt help DARK CASTLE. good performance (dark angel) DARK ANGEL is the number one stallion for wins to winners ratio,(NUMBER 1) 37 winners 58 wins = 1.567 highest percentage on the top flat racing sires for 2013 so far. ( A NEEDLE IN THE HAYSTACK ) |
