Played early Monday - av some value anyway!
DA Points 50 - Season has really turned around in the last month, won the Shell Hueston Open and was a v good 2nd last week when he played very well in New Orleans! And was 2nd round here last year when just losing out in a playoff after a final round 71 cost him Lucas Glover 55 - bounced back to form last week when 4th, played some crackin stuff for 3 rounds and has a good record here with a win, a 2nd and a 4th here in the last 7 years Russell Henley 125/1 ew - a player i really like and think he will win again sooner rather than later, finished 6th in the RBC Heritage when last seen. Is his first time playing in this but is ranked 9th on Tour in Total driving (Accuracy and distance combined) so his game should suit here. Has a v good strokes gained putting figure too which should help on the quick greens Rory Sabbatini 240 - Showed his first signs of life for a long time 2 weeks ago when 9th in the Heritage. Likes it around here with a fair record in the last 7 years of -mc-3-mc-mc-67-3-52 Jonathan Byrd 180 - similar to above ^ has had a horrid start to the season in all honesty but course form is v good and could outplay his price |

Just hearing that Padraig is trying a belly putter this week
. Don't know the thoughts behind this as there is a good chance they are to be banned in a few years. He really is an enigma. |
By:
Looks like he needs a belly driver also - in the rough on four of the first five holes. Two over after 4 and in trouble on the par 5 fifth.
By:
Now 4 over after 6 and dead last. Nice one Pod.

Make that 5 over thru 7. Another lovely 6 at the Par 5.

By:
He really is unreal
![]() Dunno why he constantly has to keep changing stuff |
By:
8 over through 13. Embarrassingly bad.

He's some boy our Padraig.
. Bellyputter my arse, having said that it seems to be his driving today is the cause. But theres nearly always something going wrong with Pod every week it seems. On abrighter note, grand start by big Phil. |
By:
typical Phil, going along lovely, gets to 8 and makes a tit of it and comes away with bogey

Poor start from Rory today. Putting been v poor. Should have been few shots better yesterday.
By:
Poor greens aren't helping matters though callit. Bit of a lottery really.
By:
Yeah, they are shocking. God knows what they be like come Sunday.
By:
U know the greens are bad when they start chipping instead of putting!

Garrigus be better off using his fu*king driver on the greens

Looks like all on the thread have some sort of chance at this stage, added G mcneill at 34,s

I'd be disappointed if Phil don't finish the job off from here tbh
By:
Come on PHIL
![]() ![]() |
By:
I be very disappointed if i don't collect. Rory is surely the biggest danger to Phil. Phil has converted 19 out of 34 36hole leads or share of. Suggests his current price is still quite decent. Was hoping Garrigus could maybe tie Phil lead last night, but his confidence on the greens now looks shot to pieces. Watney and Ww would look my biggest dangers, but Ww is finding it increasingly hard to win, and Watney can just f*ck off!!

By:
Phil just had a shocker of a 2nd there at 15. Loses a ball, then look. Takes another ball out changes to his 3 wood and hits the exact same shot. What a player!!
By:
Thought Phil had it wrapped up on the 15th tee, not so!!
By:
The fat lady is still at home in bed.
By:
Phil collapse
ffs |
By:
Yeah, from the second shot on 15, it was a fu*kin nightmare!!Hopefully Hawkins can pull off the miracle to make up for it!
By:
I learned my lesson from Phil after that.
An absoulute shocking effort over the weekend +2 I think he was |
