Wildmans Tread re- Prime Time last night

Into the ether .  Did not see the program , but did see the  initial posts .  Gathered that some on here thought there is a big problem regarding making the country safe for its citizens .

Citizenship raised another question too .

I mentioned that all the marauding gangs were from a certain group,this is not allowed and is why it was never mentioned by RTE.

The thought police are in the ascendancy.

OZY , we the Irish that is , are the most welcoming race in the world , Ask any Non National who's arrived here ...Just make your way to any rail station in the uk ...Board a train bound for holyhead , Present yourself ON ARRIVAL IN DUBLIN AND YOU WONT ENCOUNTER ANYONE WHO'S REMOTELY INTERESTED IN WHERE YOU'VE COME FROM OR WHERE YOU'RE GOING , BEAT THAT FOR HOSPITALITY...

The mobility of labour and "citizenship " --largely based on having a "valid " address has become a huge problem in the etherial notion that is "Europe" .  All for the European ideal myself , but think those in charge have not thought the implications through , and there have been a legion of abuses of the procedural arrangements and their policing ( non existent largely , impossible given the land masses involved and native cunning -- not just of us Irish ) .

With the availability of computer systems world wide , is it not beyong the realms of possibility that everyone in the "european jurisdiction " should have a specific "ID" which cuts across national borders for the purpose specified . Am thinking of the situation where social security "claims" / payments went down by 30% during the volcanic dust flare up of some years ago , no flights back and forward between certain counties for about a month . Coincidence ?

The concept that someone hops on a plane and travels to Ireland where the social security payments are over the top and largely instantly available is bonkers .  The dogs in the street know that .  Every citizen of these shores is entitled to back up , but in my view it has to be "earned" .  Thus everyone entitled to a claim should have that claim processed on the basis of their "bank " , which started the day they were born . If they were native to the country the claim is being made in , fair enough.  If they moved country, their entitlement has to be viewed in the context of their "contribution " to any such "fund" , and it has to be individualized , which is where the computers play their part . Those who have never "joined the club " have to go through a different process , uncluttered with airy fairy do gooders input .  Its a hard world , but when resources are tight , no one is "entitled" to a lifestyle above that associated with their coming into this world .  Tough , but it is possibly the only way to encourage responsible behaviour / parenting controls without getting into philosophical , religious and other arguments .

Know that we Irish have a history of having to emigrate to better our lives , has created a legacy for a lot of us , but when my grandfather went to New York in 1906 nobody started to subsidise his existence immediately , anything he gleaned from life in the USA was hard earned , no hand outs  , and you can argue that he was the better for that .

The problem is not confined to Ireland , England is a polyglot mix of ethnic peoples now , find it hard to identify anyone who traces back specifically to "english roots " . And all this cross community ethnicity , inter marriage ( plus the 40% fallout ) , bonkers legislation outlawing crosses etc , makes for  more unstable societies  , there and subsequently all over the place . 

Needs radical and root and branch surgery , the whole system . World wide probably .

Ah but the people smugglers love it as it is ....So easy ...Slap a child for been bold , and some childrens charity will say you should go to jail ..Leave your borders open to children been brought into Ireland for sex purposes , Not a word from same people , It beggars belief ...
