Gladiatorus was a miler who looked sensational when winning three races on the bounce in Nad Al Sheeba,was rumoured then to be pumped full of drugs.
He arrived at Royal Ascot in the Queen Anne Stakes started around 5/2 flew the gates was caught and passed at the three furlong pole finished a furlong behind,his assistant trainer was Mahmood Al Zarooni.
Encke prevented Camelot winning the Triple Crown his trainer was Mahmood Al Zarooni there is now a cloud over that success.

Question marks abound now with every horse this guy has been associated with over the years after whats happened...
yep sad to see. Esp if Encke did stop a definite triple crown winner. guess we'll never know, pity.
How many yards have been visited in Ireland under similar circumstances? Are these type of inspections conducted in Ireland. I doubt that these practices are exclusive to the Godolphin. What chance have the good guys?

I noticed that Godolphin seemed to virtually farm races in Dubai but when these horses came back to Britain they could barely beat a snail, who would dare question or even think of dope testing the ruling family of Dubai's horses in their own back yard?. What has Monterosso done since?
But I agree with the gotchee this is far from an isolated thing, those things from Ballydoyle have often turned a tailed off run into Group one glory within a few short weeks and you think this all comes from the gallops?, the naievity of some is astonishing, the vet is an essential part of any racing stable fact!!!.

Wasnt Noverre disqualified from winning the French Guineas around 10 years ago ?
History repeated itself,Animal Kingdoms dreadful run can be put down to being juice free.
Maybe it was more down to trying to mount Elusive Kate in the pre parade ring !
