they found a place for ted on their team for cheltenham having gotten rid of the likes of tommo, alistair down, francome, mccririck etc.

Ted provides some entertainment on a team that prob lacks it since jokers such as Down and Tommo are gone. Gary is much more knowledgable -no doubt but we cant have all hard core form. Sure who else would let a 'bad word' slip this week if it were not for Ted!
Not Ted's biggest fan but you need a bit of life on the panel given the rest of them are more or less robots.
