hello. going down to ballyconnelly to play a bit of golf, would like to stay in clifden. anybody give me a heads up on a decent hotel in the town?

somebody has suggested the alcock and brown, is this central and decent?

alcock and brown isnt the best, check tripadvisor for yourself to see.  i would reccomend the station house hotel, good value and quality. go to town to eat and drink though. hotel is less than 5 mins walk to town.  a lot of pubs do very decent food, guys,griffens and lowrys are the best.  griffens show loads of sports with 3 tvs and 2 rooms.  it will be quiet this time of year so u should get a good deal if u ring them

right at the end of town mexicano.......nice hotel and great grub.....stayed there while working......off the square restaruant worth calling into down the middle of the towm.......

doing the atlantic challenge again in july mate.

we did it last year stayed in ballina.

fantastic value. wonderful courses.
