Yesterday was a great day for Offaly, the teams of the Millennium were being inducted to the Hall of Fame but they included two others both with Faithful history.

Tony McTague probably one of the best free takers ever in Gaelic football was inducted alongside Eamonn Cregan although Limerick through and through was part of the most dramatic last twenty minutes ever in a hurling final and ironically it was against his own County.

The day was kind of ruined by McTague having a brainstorm and advocating the amalgamation of weaker counties, hopefully all will see it that way.
