A true patriot imho. A person of enormous moral standing. Whilst so many of her ilk "play the game", she stands up to the ignoring of the law by numerous Departments of Government.
To go on state TV and reminds that the Dept of Health is deliberately continuously breaking the law takes guts.
The woman should be jailed for treason all she seems to do is extract money from the state for chancers. In her yearly report she claimed her biggest success was getting a couple 81 thousand for basically neglecting their parents,they put their unfortunate parents into a home paid nothing towards their keep but because the state in order to defray the costs retained their state payments they sued.The case should have been kicked out for being frivolous apart from the fact it was entered beyond the time but no the massively paid OReilly got the chancers their ill gotten gains,she is now on a power trip in that she wants to dictate to the government without worrying about financial implications.
The press and RTE are always against the state and in favour of whoever the latest group are looking for vast swathes of cash for some perceived wrong in this they are backed up by the judiciary who can't even make a straight forward decision,do none of them realise this state is broke and can't afford to give out huge lump sums to a mixture of chancers and semi deserving causes.
Our state is badly served by politicians who are petrified of being called unfeeling and who want to be generous with others money,Joe Costello a prime example he is travelling round the world ready to burst from gluttony but giving money we don't have to poorest countries even a rundown French graveyard was the recipient of funds from this generous man.

In fairness, your point is well made and I can actually see the logic in your arguement. Maybe I was being a mug jumping on a bandwagon containing a rare insider standing up against the government. The problem is though the Government rarely gets involved in court cases like the one you mentioned for the reasons you mentioned. They will nearly always settle out of court and agree not to admit liability
