Their latest debacle, it's a joke, the main TV news decides to launch into 'sports coverage'......
'Rugby' they told us last night, and the 'main' sports story was about this Leinster guy leaving to play in France, that was the 'main' sports story. And then, then another story about some team going to represent Ireland in Seoul at some games or other - sorry I didn't take in who or what they were. My main thrust here is to indicate the awfulsports coverage or was what masquerdes as 'coverage' of sport. Meanwhile, in Galway the Irish 'A' team were playing - not a dicky bird about that game did we get. We pay €160 per household for this.
The last place you go for news Sports or current affairs is RTE. Even if they did report on your Sport it would be spun and filtered first. If you want to know what is going on in the world go to Newstalk

I tried sending in a reply one night & probs with computer. Maybe, to answer some posters from below, I do use the remote to access results of various events. It's this joke of an organisation who get 160 per house and they cant get or do sports results and 'coverage' right.
The night they gave clips of the St Mirren v Celtic League Cup game as they told us St Mirren had gone 'three up', St Mirren never went 'three up' they scored a third goal after Celtic scored two, they never went 'three up'. If I was a private enterprise newspaper writer up in the stand at Hampden Park and wrote that line after St Mirren's third goal a sports editor would tell me 'you cant write.....' It's going on weekly at the state-subsidised national broadcaster.

It certainly has gone downhill since poor Colm Murray's illness.
Also he always made sure that there was a review of the racing at the week-end no matter how much other sport was on.
Other reporters give lip service to the racing.
