AH jezki, un atout, andy said jezski speed figures are well ahead of the rest and he should be fav. JM jezki all the panel agreed it was a tough race...ben pauling again stated how the henderson yard are confident that mtoy will take the beating. ARKLE all the panel said it was SIMONSIGS race to lose john parrot asked ben what the yard thought of the horse..his reply"MONSTER" nothing can live with him at severn barrows..his work is of the highest order. CHAMPION HURDLE JP no bet CL zarkander BP grandout AH the fly, although he said the horse fastest time was his 3rd last year but its his to lose. JM no bet HANDICAPS JOHN PARROT said watch out for CANTLOW the horse had been run over the wrong trips and if he turns up in one of these get on..jp has done a job with the horse and it,ll be ready to run for its life. NEPTUNE NOVICE HURDLE JP the new one CL the new one BP puffin billy AH taquin du seul ANDY HOLDING and JOHN PARROT said jonjos horse is there best chance over the 4 days and parrott said he spoke to ap who told him they think the horse has a big shout. BEN PAULING mentioned CHATTERBOX and said the horse has a great e/w chance and he had backed him. he picked PUFFIN BILLY as he thinks chatterbox may just get done for experience RSA CHASE all the panel were sweet on pipes DYNASTE QUEEN MOTHER again panel spent no time SS is SHOE IN.. ALBERT BARTLETT 3M NOVICE JP fishers cross CL supreme quality e/w BP african gold, ntd told ben that this horse is his best chance of the week. AHroad to riches e/w JM connygree GOLD CUP ONLY CHARLIE LONGSDON thought BOBSWORTH was beatable..he said sdc and long run could spoil the party but admited BOBSWORTH could be special the panel gave there thoughts on some of the other races... charlie longsdon had been told paul nicholls had backed 2 of his..SAM WINNER,WONDERFUL CHARM, john parrot also said he had been told the same..so the champion trainer really fancys these 2. ben pauling said SIMON MUNIR who owns lots of horses really fancys his MEGALYPOS@12/1 from the henderson yard and the horse gets in off a low weight. for THE BUMPER,charlie longsdon said he didnt fancy EMPIRICLE,..his horse was 2nd to it at huntingdon giving it 7lb..he does not think the horse can improve enough to win thew race..andy holding stated he been told by the nicholls yard that ruby will ride FACINO RUSTICO and @33/1 it was a crack,n bet the yard fancy it to go well...the panel said they had all been told LIZ DOYLES horse was the main irish hope...although andy holding said 4yr olds dont have a great record in the race.ben pauling said henderson likes to win his fathers race ..they run 6 in it..his best is PETIT ROBIN. Nor was I but I'd guess that it was €20 per head. 350 there. That's €7k (not 70). Then you would have a raffle, maybe an auction, and charity bets etc. Looking at €10k-ish all in. Well done to all involved. Always a great night.
